点评:The Market Cross which presently stands at the bottom of Glastonbury's High Street is the second cross to stand on this site. The first cross, dating from the early 16th century, was demolished in the early 1800s. This second Bath stone cross was erected in 1846. Looking very slender as it rises 38 feet high, it is certainly worth stopping to have a look at.
