In town for a running event, looked hard through reviews for a lunch spot. Bill's Toasty Shop hit the spot juuuuust right: hand-made juicy and tasty cheeseburger cooked right there on the grill (choose your toppings) and good fries to go with it! Extra point from Average for that.Small shop with all the things that come with it: limited seating at the counter but more tables outside; order can take a while if busy times. Clean shop (considering), courteous and professional staff, clean bathroom (for paying customers) - extra point from Very Good for this. Cash or check only - probably to keep costs down - I don't have the heart to take a point for that in this economy :)Bottom line: good experience, will return and highly recommend
This was the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. The food was absolutely amazing. We live an hour and a half away and were passing through when we found it. But I will be making the drive just to get the dill pickle and the white garlic pizzas!
Took six family members for supper bason on the trip advisor reviews. The reviews are accurate- this is a good restaurant. The menu is expansive. There are daily specials. All six enjoyed the meals. Orders were exactly what people ordered. Portion size was generous. Pricing is very reasonable for today’s market. Will definitely return if in the area.
Excelente comida, bem servido, preço justo. Atendimento ok, talvez meio apressados até demais, porém atencioso. Tem estacionamento próprio.Along with Vanilla and Chocolate, LEMON is always available and a 4th flavor that changes. The best soft serve in Taylorville!

Great hamburgers and more. We stopped for lunch on MLK day. There were quite a few patrons eating when we arrived. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries. The burger was probably one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. (At home my burger would be rare.) I ordered mine with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and sweet potato fries. I could only finish 1/2 of my burger and all of my fries. My friend had bacon on her burger and fries. We noticed the person at the next table had soup. We missed that when we read the menu. The bathroom was clean and there was hot water. They honored military discount, too. If ever in Taylorville again, I would look forward to eating here again.We always have the best service!! Staff is so friendly!!! And we love the pizza!!!! Our go to is the spicy Lily. We drive 50 minutes to eat here. Highly recommend!!! Setting is bar/restaurant.
stopped here for breakfast and boy was i glad we did. the price of the food was very reasonable. you also get alot for the price. now the food tasted great and the service was very good
