Food and drinksA beautiful, tranquil setting overlooking the pōhutukawas over Pauanui Beach. The food is excellent. I had the fish n chips- fresh , beer battered gurnard with hand cut, chunky fries( delicious!) and a lovely garden salad, and husband had the steak sandwich- also excellent. Service from our California- born wait person, was efficient and friendly. Only complaint was the very limited wine selection, with Kopiko Bay as one of the two choices for the Chardonnay. It would be great to see a slightly better quality and selection of Nz wines to match the wonderful food. Overall, a very pleasant place to visit with excellent food and service.
Asian Fusion food mainly with a few basics always at a beach restaurant, like fish and chips, burger and pizza. The Asian dishes consist of smaller sharing plates and then there are around 12 main size meals. All food sampled was excellent. Good selection of both alcoholic and non drinks. It was a busy evening but service was also top notch with very pleasant staff.
There are not many choices in this neck of the woods .But we ate here twice. Service by Faustine was exceptional. The owner better not lose her!! Food choices are limited but very good. Smash burgers are excellent, fish and chips are even better, and pull pork sandwich was great . A good number of beers and wines are available .Reserve on weekends 
Great loaded fries and excellent snapper also. I had a bacon burger with an egg and it was delicious.We went there at 6pm on a Saturday night and it was incredibly busy with a 45min wait time.
The Menu had varied options, and our four mains were exceptional, the plating so inviting, attention to detail, and most importantly tasted beautiful
All good seems wonderful. Been coming here for last 2 months and selection and quality very good. Service is laid back beach style which is fine. Def recommend.
