Very special place!!!! Not only located in a very artsy, unique, mom and pop live/work business (Old Florida feel!) area of Village of the Arts, but the way they transformed the house into a cozy restaurant, you feel like you are in a private dining environment, or with family. The servers and chef were beyond gracious, welcoming, and the food was amazing. It is a locally owned place and the feel is just so different from a chain restaurant. The place leaves you with a very warm feeling and good vibes!
The Bradenton-Sarasota area has many German restaurants to choose from...my wife and I have tried them all. In sum, all are good, but, the Lucky Frog, by far, is the best. The chef is from Bavaria - so, very authentic food. The potato salad was superb, the schnitzel was thin and fried to perfection - simply perfect...the cordon bleu was amazing. The staff was engaging and fun - it was obvious they are very proud of their restaurant. Highly recommend The Lucky Frog. We are going back!
O’bricks is a very good restaurant & pub in downtown Bradenton. Their on line menu is current and has a good selection of salads, appetizers, and main courses with a lot of seafood options and interesting flavors, including Creole. They do not heavily salt the food, but instead use spices in interesting ways to add flavor. Chef allows substitutions. Full bar with quite nice wine list. They have three rooms, comfortably furnished in a historic building. Sound absorbing ceiling tiles, with tables not crowded together. Staff clearly has pride in their restaurant, and treat you well. Service is speedy, but you’re not rushed. Some on street 2hr. parking, and large municipal garage 1 block away. We both had very good meals and were really glad we came. On Monday night, we got the next to last table, and after we were seated, every table, including those outside on the sidewalk , were completely full. Highly recommended.
The service is out of this world. The lost art of customer service is not lost at this restaurant!!! The waitress tony D is so worth the request to be at her tables The food is just as good as her service. If i could give her 100 stars i would! Great place great food and unbelievable great service cant wait for return trip
Great breakfast outdoors. Large portions. Sourdough French toast was good with eggs and home fries make sure to get a big sage biscuit. Delicious!
Everything from the Caesar salad to the entrees were delicious. A treat for all of us! From the lasagna to the spaghetti served table side stirred in a wheel of warmed Parmesan left the tastebuds wanting more!
Lunch on a rainy day. Cute place with ample seating indoors and out. Efficient friendly fast service. Specials daily and variety of fresh fish dishes. Desserts from hometown bakery. Key lime pie was good but thought the fudge cake was frozen quality. $70 with drink and dessert for lunch.
Ordered three large take out pizzas for dinner-9 people, and plenty of leftovers for lunch. Supreme and meat lovers were phenomenal! The Italian sausage they have is really good.Every one of us loved this pizza and I’d get it again for sure!
Amazing food! We loved our beet salad that had pistachios, capers and big white beans. So tasty! We also liked our prosciutto pizza and the uniqueness of all the flavors.
I’d never been to an Indian restaurant before. I was told to expect spicy - so of course I ordered the item on the menu that said “HOT” in its title. I had some back and forth with the waiter who counseled me on what to expect. After some conversation, I decided try it. It was hot but good. My wife tried Tikka masala which was delicious. Waiter was great. Personable and a good source of info about the menu. While we were there, a woman who we later learned was the owner, came to check on us with her grandchild. Overall a great experience and a restaurant that I would recommend.
An upscale restaurant with several nice offerings on the menu. We tried one of their flatbreads and a Seafood Cobb Salad. The Cobb had some crab, two shrimp and a tiny amount of lobster. For $30 it was good but not great and I would not order it again. The flatbread was half the price and had chicken, artichokes and gorgonzola on a thin crust. $60 with tax and tip. Valet parking available but some public parking is nearby. Great atmosphere and courteous service.
Excellent choice for great seafood, especially the Oysters Rockefeller. Local place, great selection. If you can get Anthony as your server, you are in luck.
We visited twice. The first night we had a pizza which was freshly prepared and delicious. The second time we had ravioli in tomato which was excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.They have recently started to open 7 nights a week. Eat in or take away will give you a meal to remember at a reasonable price
The food and especially the bread was beyond delicious. Big plates, more than we could eat, so took home with us. Will go back for sure.Highly recommend.
Great spot in Bradenton for fine food and great vintage wines. It's not too noisy like some of the other places recently added to the Bradenton fine dining scene. Attentive service. Wines you don't get at other places. Cool bar area. Make sure you get reservations as its very small. Good place for a special night.
While visiting from Colorado, my sister (who is a Bradenton local) and I were looking for a close place for lunch and were happily surprised to find a German restaurant near by. Family run by very nice and hardworking people. Delicious authentic German food, fast service, very reasonably priced. I even heard a few German dialects also eating there when we did. Hope to come again, when I visit again. Definitely worth the stop!
This place is an old world restaurant. Refreshing change from the run of the mill places to eat. Authentic Italian sauce and meatballs. Fried fish was awesome.
Always a great dining experience! Everything we've ever had is wonderful. This time the yellow curry was delicious as was the Su-shi shrimp. Fresh rolls were outstanding.
A great breakfast place with a wide variety of iyems on the menu. I enjoy a traditonal breakfast of eggs over medium, potatoes and bacon. Actually, being from New Jersey, I prefer scrapple or pork roll, but both are near impossible to find in Florida. The breakfasyt here did not disppoint. I particlatly enjoyed the thick sliced marble rye bread as well. My wife loved her winter vegetable frittata, shes a healthier eater than I am. She said it was delicious and prepared perfectly. The coffee was exceptional, plentiful and served hot. Our server, Alexis, was on the ball and made certain we were well taken care of. They also have a great selection of specialty muffins, and we couldn't resist picking up two for later today - both looked delicious - an Apple Stuffin' Muffin and a Carrot Cake Stuffin' Muffin. Can't wait to try them! Definitely try either breakfast or lunch here!

ONCE AGAIN HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Since coming here for my first time, I have met the owner Michael, an amazing waiter named Tim, and a "spot on" bartender named Mark. As you walk through the door you are greeted with smiles from those that you’ve met (and know your name) which then of course makes you feel great.As a return guest, I know to always give them my phone number for points towards future meals along with that I had also signed up for their daily emails. The daily emails let you know what fantastically delicious meals are being prepared for the day and week along with specials that only the email list are told about. Well , I had the Chicken Caprino promotion that was emailed earlier today…. It’s a smaller portion than a full dinner but completely filling and making your tastebuds burst from the flavors. Details: Fresh single breast char-grilled and topped with a sauce of goat cheese, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil and our lemon-butter sauce for $16.99.Again, I will definitely be back. And I highly recommend that anybody that’s reading this review to do the same, give them your phone number for points and sign up for emails as you never know what will happen in that kitchen to have you experience flavors like no other.Buon Appetito!
