En fancy lækkert sted med god god mad. Dog lidt for lille potion til aftensmad. Til gengæld fik man en stor portion dessert.
Locale molto piccolo e accogliente. Se venite qui è perché cercate un caffè fatto come si deve, che sia espresso, filtrato, fatto con la french press o altri metodi di estrazione del caffè. La differenza la fa la materia prima, per cui se venite per cercare L’Espresso del bar sotto casa perché vi manca il caffè dell’Italia lasciate stare. Qui si parla di un altro livello di caffè e bisogna essere aperti e disposti per provarlo. Per noi miglior espresso non solo di Zanzibar ma anche di molte caffetterie italiane :)
We dined here after reading reviews and wanting to find a rooftop bar/restaurant for the sunset. Neither disappointed. There was plenty of vegetarian options as well as non-veg and the food was very tasty. I also had dessert of creme brulee, which was more runny than it should have been but tasted nice. Cocktails were also slightly better than other bars in the area. I would recommend and would also return when I was in the area.
Chose this venue for a special Zanzibari experience and was pleasantly surprised.Not only did the food exceed my expectations, the setting was also really nice and while the music and singing performance might not be to everyone‘s taste, it did nothing to spoil the special and happy mood of the evening. I have eaten here before some years ago and to my mind, this time the food was much better prepared and tasted excellent with lots of nice flavours. I was deliberating if we should go here but due to a lack of many other choices I reserved the Tea House well in advance and was so pleased we went.
Mooie avond, prachtig vijf gangen (vis) menu, schappelijk geprijsd voor deze kwaliteit.(40 usd) Heerlijke wijnen. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal, en maakt het diner extra speciaal. Kortom, de moeite waard!

A group of 8 of us stopped her for drinks, dinner and sunset. The staff were very accommodating and reserved us a table on the rooftop for sunset. We started off downstairs with drinks and then went up for dinner when it wasn't so hot.The was an extensive cocktail menu which everyone enjoyed. There were good vegetarian options to choose from on the menu. The sunset was amazing!
Simple, honest food for a reasonable price. I value the constant value of the food, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly and helpful staff. I also recommend Archipelago Restaurant near the sea in Stone Town, which has the same owners. Good prawns (=not easy to find in Stone Town)
Nachdem wir die guten Bewertungen im Internet gelesen hatten, sind wir hier zum Essen gegangen und waren begeistert. Es gab sehr leckere, frisch für uns zubereitete Speisen und Smoothies. Wir gehen heute wieder dort hin und bringen unsere Freunde mit. Das Restaurant war außerdem sehr sauber.
Try local food in zanzibar.Lukman was the best choice.We loved the food,very delicious.fantastic service.good price.
Very nice waterfront restaurant. We went for lunch and both got the kingfish which was excellent. It has beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and is very inexpensive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol

The food was exceptional and ambience, an oasis in the city. The complimentary hummus appetizer was absolutely authentic middle eastern fare. We enjoyed a simple, green salad with fabulous, homemade dressing. The grilled tuna dinner had an amazing sauce and was presented beautifully, along with grilled vegetables and rice. My friend had exquisite steak medallions with a delicious mushroom sauce. Chef Mathias checked to see if we were satisfied. And YES! A great restaurant in Stonetown, Zanzibar, Tanzania.
A great mixed vegetable curry with a chilli cheese naan, washed down with a 500ml Safari beer. Staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant was reasonably busy which is always a good sign. It's off the main drag so the prices are more reasonable. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Maru maru is a great spot for lunch dates and drinks . They make good cocktails…. actually their drinks are nice …… ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Excellent food. Never knew Ehtopian foos is going to be this delicious. Excellent injira, tender beef and the gravy was wholesome. Loved every bit of it. A must visit restaurant in stone town. The hibiscus juice was to die for. Cold and refreshing.
Attirés par la carte en passant devant, nous avons fait halte pour un délicieux jus tropical aux fruits frais. Puis nous sommes revenus le soir déguster une langouste et des gambas grillées. A noter : les frites étaient très bonnes !Ce n'est pas un hasard si ce petit resto tout simple en surplomb de la mer se hisse à une place très honorable sur TripAdvisor.Nous recommandons pour le rapport qualité prix excellent.
