Stopped in here for a late lunch. Wasn't too busy so we were seated right away. Decent menu with enough choices on it. We ordered the Fajita Salad and the Smoke House Burger. Both arrrived quickly enough. The Burger was good and fresh but the Fajita Salada was really good, lots of chicken on it too. Our server Samantha was friendly and very good as well. Would stop in here again.
Clean, friendly Mexican restaurant with a very large menu of great meals to choose from. We enjoyed the Nachos Al Carbon and Fajitas Pescado. Plenty of fish serving on a piping hot plate. Very delicious and filling. I'd have it again.
We had two meals here and both were delicious! Had pizza and salad and spaghetti and meatballs and all were top notch and had good service too considering the place is packed to the gills all the time! It’s very noisy but the food definitely makes up for it . Prices are reasonable and portions are big . Oh and they only take cash there but they do have an atm and if u want carry out pizza order in advance because wait times otherwise can exceed an hour that’s their specialty I believe .
Some friends and I got together to try this place out. It is small but cozy and the staff are great. We had a great waitress who got our food to us in a timely manner. The food was good and hot and it was a great place to talk and laugh and have a good get together. Every customer were waited on quickly and got their meals in a timely manner. There was a good variety of items on the menu too with daily specials. Overall the type of place we will return too again.
This little road stand was great. They were SO friendly and great variety! I bought some Dijon mustard, a yellow tomato, corn and three cookies the size of your face! They were SO delicious!My friends and I checked out The Bend today and what a great surprise it was. While it is a small place it is big on atmosphere, good food and friendliness. We have a great time wherever we go but the places we really enjoy have that something extra. And this place has exactly that. Our waitress was super. Other customers in the place were friendly. The menu is good and the food is even better. We had this place on our radar for a while but it always seemed too busy whenever we went by. Now we know why it is busy. Kudos to the owner and the people who work here. We will be back.
Pulled into Coloma around 10: 15 a.m. on a Saturday thinking we were going to the Friendly restaurant. Found out it was "Friendly Tavern," but found a very friendly operation at the cozy Hub Central 185, formerly the Coloma Cafe. Look at the size of that ... rooster, someone said as we approached a structure with an enormous statue of a male Gallus domesticus perching on top. We opened the front door using a handle similar to a vintage gas pump. (That theme was carried through to the clean restroom - way in the back past the kitchen - with a similar handle on the business side of the restroom door and a sink overlaid with a tire. (The tiny restroom isn't particularly wheelchair friendly.) The owner is a Notre Dame fan, if the logo on the service wall is any indication. At 10:30, the place was busy but not crammed. The tables (no booths) probably fill up at lunch. Cooks kept the food coming out on schedule. Food was good. Coffee was good. The vegetarian had a vegetable omelet, a couple slices of warmed rye bread and a nice fruit cup. The foodie had a poached egg and a very nice fruit cup. Waitress was friendly without being too friendly, if ya know what I mean. Place also offered a souveneir mug for sale. It read: "The biggest" (picture of a rooster) "around" We'll be back.
The night we went they had 2 or 3 people call in so they were short staffed. We were very understanding and let the night flow. Once they got their flow, all was good.
Ordered two pizzas this weekend for pick me up- was very happy with the service and the pizza.They do offer delivery as well.
New to town, moving here soon. So happy to find a nearby place. The food is delicious. Ambiance cool vibe. May be our new watering hole.
