This was our first visit to QC Pancake House. We arrived early on a Saturday morning, so they weren't too busy yet. There seemed to be an issue where to seat our group of four. I don't know what the problem was, but after some discussion among some staff, they plopped us right by the entrance (which we were fine with). Once seated, we were waited on promptly, and it wasn't long before our food arrived. Everything we had was excellent, and the portions were generous. We were checked on often by our very polite waitress. As we sat there, people would come in and wait to be seated. This usually created a bottleneck at the front entrance/exit. I guess it was more obvious since we were right where all the action was. I could easily give this establishment an excellent rating, but they seemed to have a little trouble with "crowd" control. Because of the excellent food and service by the friendly staff, we would certainly return.
Lively atmosphere and quick service. My food didn't come out as ordered, but Jermann was awesome and made it right! Good experience.
I never fail to stop at Whitey’s whenever I go back to the QC. It is delicious! The red raspberry shake is my favorite.
This place rocks yummy food. The place is clean. Fabian is helpful explaining things for a first timer in the restaurant. If you like turtles don't leave without getting two!
I have loved Alfano's for as long as I can remember! Their warm and welcoming atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. The staff is wonderful—always friendly and attentive, ensuring you feel right at home. And then there's the pizza! It’s absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust and fresh toppings that keep me coming back for more. Whether I’m dining in or ordering takeout, Alfano's consistently delivers a fantastic experience. It’s truly one of my favorite places to eat!
This place is amazing! The food is as authentic as if I was sitting at a restaurant in Thailand. They have a nice variety of Thai food, but the red curry & pineapple fried rice are my favorite.
The calzones were amazing!! Fresh dough. Fresh ingredients. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Don't miss this hidden gem!
This our go to calzone place. We recently picked up 7 calzones and a pizza to share with friends. The food was excellent! We will definitely be back!
Igor’s is Halloween themed, but not in a scary or gory way. There are posters, signs and statues, it is fine for kids. The appetizers were good, there is a bar, we only had beer. The sandwiches were good, the service was exceptional. I am not sure I would go back, but I would not say no if other’s were going for lunch or dinner
Food was excellent. Service was great. Smoked meat was delicious. Their barbecue sauce was excellent. We like the just meat flavor didn’t slather it in sauce unless you wanted it. All the sides tasted like grandma made them. Great place to eat. If you leave hungry it’s your own fault because they piled the meat and fries up.
Our 1st visit to Pee Wee's and definitely will be back!!! Most authentic soul food I have tasted since my Mother's cooking..Fried chicken was absolutely perfect and the greens were phenomenal and peach cobbler was spot on!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE
We had Cheesy Tomato Bread, Mac Balls, Fish and Chips, AND homemade Carmel sauce with baked apples and ice cream!!!Try it you’ll like it!
We had a little time between activities in Rock Island, and decided to try Healthy Harvest Urban Farms. It was a delightful stop, not what we expected. It is probably more of a vegan grocery than a vegan restaurant. Nevertheless, my wife and I had a nice meal. My Sausage Supreme sandwich was very tasty. I had not expected a vegan grocery, but they had an award as being the 24th best vegan grocery in the US. This place is a must stop for folks looking for vegan foods. For us, as non-vegans, it was still a very nice stop. The family run business is quite proud of what they have.
We were staying at the Holiday Inn across the street and went to Steve's to watch Sunday NFL football. The bar is not fancy but the service and food was great. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which was outstanding. I would go back if it was closer.
Had a difficult time deciding which Mexican restaurant to go to for tongue taco and burrito. A suggestion from a friend swayed us in this direction. The tongue tacos and the tongue/ chorizo burrito were absolutely delicious, the service was great and the staff was friendly. So glad we chose this cute restaurant. We will be back!!
