We enjoy finding local, outstanding restaurants. This one beat our expectations. We sat on the porch overlooking the historic courthouse. Our server, Courtney and sous chef, Giordano, made us feel like family. Best of all…the food was outstanding!
There may have been a language barrier, as the hostess & waiter had to be told twice, the number in our party .. after that, evrything went fine & dandy .. didnt take long to get our drinks or our food, and our dishes were extra yummy and extra plentiful .. a word of warning, tho: if you order a large marguerita, dont plan on drivin .. it comes in a glass beer mug that hadta be 32-oz (at least!)
Had a great quick dinner on our way home from vacation. We were a little nervous about the area at first as we neared our destination, but turned into a nice quaint street where we saw Jonah’s! We were seated immediately and our pizza came in 10 mins or so. Jonah’s had quaint outdoor seating with string lights and umbrellas, but since it was January we sat inside. Uniquely, they have a little kids play room! They offer 1 style of pizza crust (regular thick crust) with variations of pizza in including their specialty the Forsythian Ultimo which we ordered. Family Favorite was the spicy buffalo chicken!! The decor and atmosphere was extremely family oriented, friendly and welcoming. The staff was fantastic and our waiter Jase did a great job checking in on us, making our stop super fast enjoyable. Thanks Jonah’s and keep up the great work! We will stop again if we are in the area!!
Clean, fast, good service. Fresh food and great margaritas!! Would stop here again. Not sure why the hours on Friday and Saturday are until 9p and not 10p since it’s next to several hotels.
It was a very busy night and the wait staff was running around taking orders and keeping drinks refilled. Very friendly atmosphere and a great place to hang out and have dinner with friends and family. We love Fox City Brewery Co.
Stopped in following dinner nearby during an overnight stay nearby while traveling between Ohio and Florida. Cute corner ice cream parlor featuring a nice variety of ice cream flavors and ways to order. The scoops were generous and reasonably priced. We were surprised to discover a number of fresh sweet confections and treats. After a long day of traveling we enjoyed relaxing with their tasty ice cream at the sidewalk benches facing the county courthouse. Reminded us of the small rural county seats of home. Oh yeah, couldn't resist a couple treats for the road the next day..
Lovely Mexican restaurant in downtown Forsythe. The free chips & salsa were excellent & took the edge off our hunger!! We split the shrimp fajita. Very shareable!!! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. We had a good house Margarita, too!
Food was just average but they have the sweetest most welcoming staff. Wasn't a lot to pick from for my kids but they did like the desert options. Overall a decent place to stop for dinner if you are passing through.
Was traveling from Florida to Atlanta and needed a stretch break and some dinner. Exited I-75 at Forsyth and looked around. Plenty of fast food options. Saw a locally owned Mexican restaurant next to the Burger King. Saw La Pasadita only had eight reviews (all excellent), and the most recent one was over four years old. Decided to give it a try and share my experience. I initially tried to order the tamale and flautas (two separate dishes). Both were sold out. Supposedly the tamales go really fast when available. I then decided on a burrito ($8.90) with both asada steak and chorizo (the extra meat cost additional $2.50). Unexpectedly, it also came with chips and salsa. Burrito was very tasty, especially with the salsa verde. It was large enough that I could only eat half and took the rest to go. I recommend La Pasadita for the real meal at a price similar (or cheaper) than other fast food options. Please give your own review whether positive, negative or neutral…it will help the restaurant and other TripAdvisor readers be more informed.
This was a very good experience. The menu had a nice selection and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. My husband had the Shrimp Creole and I had the Fried Lobster with Coconut Curry Sauce. We had Boudin Balls as an appetizer. We took Bread pudding back to the hotel to have later. All the food was served hot and it was tasty! We enjoyed our waiter and had a nice visit with the chef/owner. We will come back when passing through this area!
We went for breakfast around 9am. They were super busy, but that didn’t stop them. The cooking staff killed it and Margo was amazing! The food was great! Nice teamwork!
Good food, wings & burgers and great owner & staff. Just off route 44 in eatonton. Little place with as mentioned great service. Support local business you won't be disapointed.Very clean and food was delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Best place to order bulk meats and sides for all of your gatherings! Will be going back, great BBQ!
