We were in the area and were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. This was just off the main road and part of a lovely country club. The menu was excellent. They have specials running that were perfect for game days. We watched Sunday Football while we enjoyed great service. Our drinks were always full and our food arrived quickly. The food was good and a good value. Then they offered us dessert…Giant Chocolate Cake…they actually called it “Giant”. It did not disappoint! Three of us enjoyed it and it was delicious. If you find yourself looking for a place to eat in Northern Jasper County between Wheatfield and Demotte…check this out! You’ll love the industrial ambiance along with the pretty surroundings and golf course views.
We order from JJ's all of the time. We make the 25-minute drive for a carryout. Their pizza and cheesy breadsticks are always wonderful. They are very very reasonable and friendly. Blows the pizza places by our house away,,Worth a try,

As with most places, they could use additional staffing. Was really impressed with the waitress covering ALL tables, plus being the hostess. Food was okay.Just went out for a late lunch, close to closing time, with a friend who had just driven up from Indy. Lots of unusual seating, mismatched tables and chairs of various sizes, lend the decor a certain charm. We sat on the blue couch that is there, with various games and puzzles present around the room. We saw a woman on a lap top, and another person working on a craft. There are also items, like flowers and holiday decor, for sale. We had a light repast - she had a chicken salad on a croissant, and I just had a lovely cupcake (espresso or mocha) chocolate. She had a ginger and peach or pear tea, and I had a hot cocoa. Not much, but it came to $20, not counting the tip. She said she liked her croissant, but didn't drink much of the tea. I drank the cocoa, but probably should have gone for the extra whipped cream for an extra 15 cents. The cupcake was good enough, but probably was fresher earlier in the day. The icing was very set, but the chocolate cake was nice and crumbly. I wouldn't rule out another visit, but don't think it's an A+ as of this first experience. Just happened to be driving through the area a couple days before Christmas. Found the best Taco Bell in the country, or at least out of the many I've been to. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, delicious. Perfectly assembled. The service was fast, the staff was genuinely friendly. Much appreciated. Glad we stopped.Great bar with really good food. They usually have something going on during the weekends or even the week like bingo or all you can eat wings on Wednesday. Good food and cold drinks
