Beautiful, charming and romantic location! Food was delicious and service was fantastic! Highly recommend! We are staying at this resort as well and think it is wonderful!
We stayed at the Avani hotel. This is their restaurant. James the manager was so kind and knowledgeable about the local area. The food is good too!

Seated quickly. Great food at s great price. We had ginger chicken and chicken pad Thai. These plus 1 steamed rice and 2 large beers for less than £10
wir waren hier zwar nur auf einen Kaffee zwischendurch, aber der hat geschmeckt. Espresso, cappuccino und ein Brownie waren alle sehr gut und wir haben gemerkt, dass man hier sein Handwerk versteht. Die Siebträgermaschinen wurden fachmännisch bedient und die Bohnen selbst geröstet.
Un rapport qualité prix indéniable. On est bien accueilli et c'est délicieux ! On peut y aller les yeux fermés. Attention c'est fermé le dimanche !
Great location on the main street . Food was very reasonably priced but limited choice. We had green curry gnocchi and red chicken curry. These plus 2 large beers for around £12
The food here was exceptionally prepared and incredibly tasty. The portion sizes were very good. The service was excellent 
Geweldige pizza’s in super leuk en eenvoudig restaurant. Kleine kaart met alleen 12 tot 15 pizza’s en je kunt iets te drinken bestellen. Eigenaars bereiden en bakken zelf, leuke mensen. Lekkere lounge muziek op de achtergrond. The place to be als je trek hebt in pizza.

I have Mixed feeling about this place. We tried ordering food in advance in hopes of the food being brought to the table faster, but when we arrived to the table at 8pm our food was ready at 9pm. But the food was amazing and had incredible taste and the service from the waiters was great though, that’s why the restaurant still gets 4 stars
So Paste from Bkk took over Apsara's restaurant. Time for a change! What a change. Paste in Bkk earned and has kept a Michelin star and the Thai Head chef Bee was awarded best female chef in Asia 2018. I guess that says a little. At first glance the Menu is quite Pricey for Laos. At second Glance too. But the dishes were intriguing. We wanted to celebrate the holiday on my Girlfriends last night in town with a great meal. They had a regular menu as well as tasting 2 menus for 2 and 2 for 4. At basically $42 p/p. We chose the Tasting Menu 1.Dinner was 4 courses 8 items, with little welcome cocktail and aperitif. Plus we chose 3 wines by the glass rather than a bottle another $60 plus svc charge. But $7 pours from $40 to $50 bottles not bad. All the wine was quite good. I've always liked Apsara under the old chef. We figured wed try this fancy new place. A Michelin star reputation was worth checking out. It was quite good very different. They have a Lao descended Thai head chef, Bee with A thai branch Chef Jee. Bee, who not only earned a Michelin Star but was also named best Female Chef in Asia. Has been quite successful in Bangkok and well written up for her ideas about reviving ancient recipes techniques and flavors. Her menu was playing with Lao flavors in very interesting ways. She bases much on flavors of the ancient kings. Recipes from the royal cooks and locals. The 2 totally different senses of balance between Lao and Thai, were, Sometimes complimentary sometime clashing. Still all dishes had many layers of flavor. We Paired with 3 wines. A German Riesling, Cote du Rhone, and an Argentine Malbec. They worked quite well. It was very good, Very interesting, not the usual style of eating here where things come out as they are made, at random. Paced, Impeccable and attentive, service helped shape the experience. I have to admit after all, we were the only customers all night. We had 3 waiters plus the host looking after us. Each dish was nicely presented and explained carefully as it came. Plates and silver changed and we were checked on regularly. The chef Jee came out and chatted for a while at the end too. Very nice Thai guy from Phuket, who'd been cheffing all over the world but came back to Asia. I asked him about the dishes and what they were thinking. Jee explained it all quite well. He helped me to understand some of the combinations betterIt was all delightful , multi layered, complex and sometimes challenging. With out a good understanding of Lao flavors it may have been a little weird for many folks. I'm not sure if it will catch on here. It's far more Pricey than the other fine dining experiences in Luang Prabang . But they seem content to wait.Sadly it was quite expensive for here.$90 each. But would have been a bargain at home. Being the only table on a slow night when the excellent Lao restaurant next door is slammed make one wonder if Past may be on the right track. Still it was an amazing expereince from start to finish
We met friends here with a table virtually under the stars and along the large pond, surrounded by orchids, hundreds of them. Delicious food and very friendly staff it’s easy to see why this place is high on everyone’s list for LP.
We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Toui. The chef was really helpful regarding food allergies and was able to tweak ingredients creating a yummy meal. Would definitely recommend, lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and reasonable prices
Came here for lunch on my first day in Luang Prabang on Feb. 20. This restaurant is right on the Mekong River so the views are amazing. I’m Lao so I’m biased when it comes to Lao food but the food here was very tasteful and delicious. I even came back here a second time on Feb. 22 for Lao sausages and drinks. The service here was great both times. Will definitely recommend this place this to others.
Excellent restaurant with many gluten free options on the menu. They also had the best price for red wine! Great service, inviting décor, and wonderful desserts!
Al ritorno dalla meravigliosa visita delle Kang Si Falls, le Cascate di Kuang Si, ci siamo fermati per pranzare presso il ristorante Carpe Diem.Che dire: WOW!Un luogo affascinate e romantico per pranzare in coppia, proprio davanti alle cascatelle. Il servizio era perfetto, l'ambiente vicino alle cascate inferiori molto bello e, soprattutto, il cibo si è rilevato ottimo.Se andate alle cascate di Kuang Si, dovete sicuramente venire qui, anche solo per riposarvi.
I had passed by this restaurant and checked out their menu before but never ate there because I do not eat beef so no burger for me. However, after checking their new menu with some appealing things on it I went back and asked if they would do a chicken burger and lo and behold I got a fantastic one because the server and kitchen were willing to accommodate me. It’s a lesson in asking for what I want. So for me great food, great service.And if I speak the truth the reason I went back was to compliment the owner or manager on answering unnecessary, unkind reviews so well and he said if you had asked your server it would have given us a chance to rectify things instead of using the anonymity of hiding behind. This restaurant is great looking, had fantastic music when I was there and a wonderful atmosphere. Anyone trashing this restaurant is a fool. One of the best places in LP and look forward to going back… tomorrow!
Die loatische Form von Raclette. Im viereckigen, in der MItte stehenden Tisch wird Kohle entzündet, darüber kommt eine Metallabdeckung, die am Rand mit Brühe gefüllt wird und in der Mitte den Grill darstellt. In die nun langsam kochende Brühe kann der Gast nach eigenem Belieben Nudeln und Gemüse einlegen, während in der Mitte das Fleich, dünne zarte Scheiben, gebraten wird. Im Ergebnis hat man ein köstliches Essen und ein tolles Erlebnis.
