Best restaurant in Mombasa with fantastic food in a superb location. I went to Tamarind several times and had the sushi boat each time, which was terrific. My friends' food was fresh and tasteful, including lobster, prawn curry, and duck. The staff were friendly; however, they did not remember us even though we went back many times in short succession. However, this didn't hamper the service. It is pretty pricy, but they were missing several things from the menu each time we went. However, it is 100% worth a visit if you are in the area.
This spot is great for family time, solo, and with friends. The amazing vibes. music, and staff makes the experience soo much better! Will definitely coming back.
The best restaurant in Kenya so far. The prices are amazing for the food quality. We tried stakes, lobster, pasta and noodles and some deserts and everything was perfect. Recommend if you're in Mombasa. It's worth the trip. Personnel are very professional and friendly.
It is a good restaurant in a great location on Bamburi Beach, just along from Severin Sea Lodge and many other hotels with good food, including the best pizza in Mombasa. Furthermore, the restaurant had a nice feel to it and was busy but not overcrowded. The staff was friendly and efficient, and they had a good selection of food on the menu at reasonable prices. It's worth a visit if you are around.

Shehnai Restaurant is strategically located in town-easier access, quality food and personalised service from the owners. In my experience, the standard of waiter service is excellent and to date have had no issues on the same. It does not provide any alcohol but the mango lassi is highly recommended.

Im Jahazi Coffee House erlebte ich einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Atmosphäre ist herrlich traditionell und das Personal unglaublich freundlich. Der Service war prompt und der Kaffee - einfach der Beste! Insgesamt fühlte ich mich hier rundum wohl und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Great spot for bbq and curries Their signature is the tikka which we loved and the poussin is very good too. If you want a great experience try the chicken tikka masala, the chicken is bbqed and tossed into their sauce. Prices are ok not too expensive and you get your money worth
