Bel accueil. L’endroit semble bien fréquenté par les gens du coin, ce qui est un bon signe. Pas un énorme choix de déjeuner ou de dîner, ‘me semble, mais assez pour satisfaire tous les genres. Bon choix de gâteaux et de muffins. Bravo pour le goût : excellent ! On arrête encore quand on est dans le coin.
We celebrated a family birthday there recently, and were extremely pleased with both the exceptional food and excellent service in this family run restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and you can watch them making the pizzas. One highlight was the flight of wine. The Ol’ Faithful with four cheeses, Sweet Heat, and Margherita pizzas were all amazing with amazingly good crust, and don’t skip the meatballs. 13 year old grandson said, “Best pizza ever!”. This restaurant is now a family favourite.
For once everything worked well! Renovations have just been completed with new tables and chairs, lighting, sound system and TV's in the lounge. FINALLY, TV's the work and are not all blue as has been for over a year.The food was excellent as was the service. I was there for Pasta Tuesday so the prices were great!I was also there for the Stanley Cup Final Game 5 and it was fantastic being able to watch on new even larger 60" screens with eye popping color.Good job, BP Morden. Keep it up and don't let me down again.
This is a small and out of the way restaurant. The dining room was quite nice and there is an outdoor patio. At this business customers order and pay at the counter then find a table to sit at and wait for their meal to be served.The food is EXCELLENT! It should be as the owner/chef, Alex, is a former chef for the Winnipeg Jets! I had my first ever smash burger that was created from Alberta Angus beef, cheese and onions. I cannot describe the bun it was on other than it was soft.While it was delicious, it was EXPENSIVE - $11.99 and this was for the burger only. If one wants a side of fries, it's another $5 or $7 for a basket. Onion rings are $6 and $8 respectfully. So now it's more than $20 for a burger, fries and taxes. That's just a little much.What was most annoying is that before even sitting down, the payment machine asked for a tip. Really? Tips are for SERVICE! How can one tip before they receive service. In my case, it was good however the server did what they were paid to do and did not go beyond that so I left no tip. A tip is a bonus for excellence in service and although it was good, it was not excellent. There was no service beyond food delivery. Nobody ever came over to ask me how my meal was and if I wanted a drink top up I had to go to the counter and ask for it. Sorry but this is not deserving of any gratuity.It's a nice place and I'll visit again.
The chef at Rocks was trained by a red seal chef and it shows. Rich makes 5 star meals. Best steak in the area, always made perfectly to your order, pasta, chicken parmasan, you name it he can cook it. Go and enjoy, you won't be sorry.
Good place nice food specially boneless wings are so tasty 😋 . I would definitely recommend to someone to go there on pizza hut and try boneless wings.
Food at the Motor Inn is outstanding, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cooks know how to cook it all, eggs, pasta, chicken and especially the steak. People in Morden don't know what they are missing.
I've been by George's many times and this was my first visit. IT was a beautiful and warm Sunday evening and the place was BUSY! I was there about an hour and there were no fewer than 10 people in the queue at any time. With the exception of me, the parking lot turned over at least once. Obviously a popular place. I talked to people that have been there many times and come often.I went just for a snack - a Blueberry Sundae and Blueberry/Strawberry milk shake. They were excellent, every bit as good as the place I went to on a regular basis in southern Ontario that has been in business for over 70 years and is also very popular.It was no more expensive than any other place like this - L milkshake $6.09, L sundae $5.69.The wait time was long - 20 min to give an order, 20 min to receive my order. The signs says, "Good Food Takes Time". Maybe so but 40 min is unreasonable. I don't expect the speed of any of the big fast food chains, however, this place was as slow as mollases. Also their PA system for announcing orders ready for pickup was terrible - not loud and virtually impossible to understand. IT reminds me of the old days of A&W or McDs when you couldn't understand anything the order takers were saying.All seating is outdoors at picnic tables although there are not enough of them. Too bad they don't have indoor seating for days when it's raining as I'm told they have great burgers.Overall quite a good summer place and I'll go back during the summer.Typical Tim Hortons. Good food, nice fining room clean most of the time. Service can be inconsistent. Most of the staff are clueless about the app and cannot help. Thats a result of poor training,
