Fabulous as ever. Our “go to” place in Picton. Warm welcome, great food, lovely ambiance and a few Guinnesses to top the night off. Wonderful place to visit. Till next time!
We popped in here for a drink but we’re so impressed we returned for dinner, the service we received was outstanding! We were served by 3 different staff & we can’t rate them highly enough. Friendly, efficient & accommodating. Dinner was delicious. The servings are small so need 4-5 small plates between 2. A lovely ambience & great view to the harbour. Definitely would return here nxt visit. Thanks guys for a memorable visit.

We visited The Barn for dinner having taken the ferry and arrived in Picton. Really good place with excellent choice of beers and very welcoming staff. I had ribs, my wife an open steak sandwich. Both dishes were delicious and very good value. Highly recommended.
Lovely friendly staff at high quality cafe a short walk from the waterfront. Visited three times in our two days at Picton. They even remembered our previous order! Food is high quality and the service too. Breakfast superb and cakes too. Will certainly go back when we next visit NZ.
Really enjoyed our dinner and fully can recommend the place. Very friendly staff who even speak one or two words in French. Definitely Au Revoir!
I thought this was a great restaurant. It was very busy which is always a good sign but they managed to fit us in. Really delicious hazy IPA and very good food. My wife had prawn tacos and I had seafood chowder followed by Green lip muscles in coconut cream. All delicious. We finished up with a shared apple strudel which was exciting but a nice end to the meal. Good price too.

The staff here is top notch! We caught the ferry from Wellington and stopped here for dinner before catching an Uber (or so we thought) to Blenheim. The food was solid, but when we went to leave we discovered there are no Ubers in Picton. The staff helped us find a cab company, contacted the company (we were traveling on holiday and our phones were unreliable) and got us on our way to Blenheim. Definitely an example of them going above and beyond!
Ate here while on a tour of New Zealand. Quite good. The service was quick and well organized with feeding the 40 person tour group.
New thing for me “toasties”. This is Kiwi street food. Toasted greasy bread. I had the Betty and the Picton. One with cheese, ham and pineapples and the other salmon, cream cheese and pickles. The Picton was the best.
just called in for some sandwiches, a dash and go....When i finally got to eat them....WOW.....by far the best sarnies i've ever had from a bakery. Fresh, like just made fresh, full of filling and tasty.
This place was excellent. My husband had the fish & chips and I had THE most amazing Guinness stew! Staff was very nice. Definitely worth stopping here. Would have liked to buy a t-shirt to take back home, but they were out of many sizes.
Le Café in Picton is a hidden gem! Despite its name, it offers not only an oustanding coffee, tarts and cakes, but also an outstanding cuisine with focus on sustainability and regional products. Many ingredients are locally sourced and homemade, ensuring top quality. The chef, Peter, is hands-on in the kitchen. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food with a local touch and a great view.
Beautiful venue and great food. Friendly staff and the pizza was amazing. Family of 4 and it was under $200 for a really filling meal.
We go often. The food is delicious,can not fault it. Devine food.Thai menu and Japanese menu. We've had food from both menus.Fantastic food and service.
So nice shop in small town so many options vegan $ gluten free available (gluten free cones) and really nice thick shake we definitely come back
RSA dining is well known throughout NZ as good food at a reasonable price.The Picton Club is open to both members and visitors and the dining area is open from 5.00pm. Booking is advisable as it can be busy. Menu is basic but good variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our roast pork - complete with crackling like mother used to make!!Highly recommended
