Yet again another Visit and a 10/10 result. 2 Cod and chip supper boxes, complete with Mushy Peas and Tartare sauce,The best in the area , my only wish is to have room after for one of your Home Made Ice Creams.
We visited as a family of 4 on the Saturday in between Christmas & New Year. It was very busy, we had already reserved a table for 6pm. We were served quickly at the bar and our food arrived promptly & was really lovely. Couldn’t fault our evening here. All the staff were very attentive particularly Katie & Maisie on the bar. We used to live in Goodwick but now live away. It was great to have such a lovely evening again in The Royal Oak whilst visiting parents in Fishguard. Would recommend to anyone.
Peppers is one of our favorite restaurants for several reasons. The food is superb and the service is terrific. Mykala is my favorite waitress. She is high energy and has a wonderful personality. I always leave with a smile on my face after spending time at one of her tables. The restaurant attracts wide array of clients and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Try Peppers for a top notch dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.
We were driving past looking for an evening meal. This was simply fantastic. Staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was really good and compliments to the chef
Lovely tearoom hidden away between St David’s and Fishguard.We didn’t eat, we only stopped for a drink and looked around the shop and collectables.Well worth a visit.
Delicious breakfast in lovely surroundings. Service excellent and food very reasonable. Real tea leaves too!Excellent menu with some traditional Welsh dishes.
Great one night stay. Comfortable bed, large room, roght in the centre of the town. Excellent food (dinner). Good all round place to stay and eat. We would definitely return.
Excellent and friendly little cafe, clearly popular with locals. Top notch cake. They will also do takeaway tea and cake.
A much needed drink after the Marine walk, lovely coffee and a hot sausage roll home made. Asked about their coffee and the topping on the sausage roll, staff were helpful and friendly. Brought some lovely deli items to take home too.
From the moment we stepped in on our first night of our holiday we knew this would be a regular haunt. A proper pub, no food, cash only, a free duke box. The beer was great, and the landlady was welcoming and friendly, as were the locals, even though we were English! My Daughter fell in love with Dennis the dog, and after 2 tours of duty as a mine search dog, we couldn’t give this pooch enough love! Genuinely we love this pub. Historic with amazing atmosphere and close to the historic harbour it’s a highly recommended from us!
Popped in for breakfast - great choice on the menu and good price. Had the regulator breakfast, full plate and very tasty - lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Lots of footfall so shows this is a popular place to visit. Large public car park to the back and easy walking into the town centre and coastal path - the even serve a Scottish breakfast!!
Had a great meal here with live music. The music wasn't too loud, and we were able to enjoy our evening in good company. Excellent pizzas, great music, friendly staff.
Wonderfully welcome staff especially as they had only just opened. Had a lovely coffee and piece of locally made Barrabreith with proper butter ... thank you x
I popped in for a drink and got chatting to the owners and locals. Very welcoming, local beer and inviting feel. Received lots of local knowledge regarding places visit and explore. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine local pub with local knowledge and welcoming feel. Let’s all keep these real places running and support local businesses in these difficult times.5 stars all the way. 
Very attentive staff,, clean and original. My husband had a chicken roast which came with a large selection of fresh vegetables.. these are served separately so you can select your own.. I had the vegetarian option which looked fabulous,, although I didn’t eat it due to personal taste,, it was a large portion but I enjoyed the leeks in cheese sauce and all the other vegetables.. so was full anyway. I’d definitely recommend this gem
Stopped here on our way around Fishguard for an Ice Cream. Having recently started on a Dairy Free diet, I wasn't hopeful that they would have anything I could eat, but they had some Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream, which I ate in a tub. It was certainly the best Vegan Ice Cream I have had to date, and I wish I had asked which brand they used as their supplier. It made our return trip to our honeymoon destination memorable!! Great little place.
A wonderful welcome, fabulous breakfast, lovely peaceful garden. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves great quality food and drink. 
Absolutely fabulous breakfast, very fresh and not greasy. Top notch ingredients. Will definitely visit when we are back in Fishguard!
Just an unplanned visit on Mothering Sunday and they still managed to fit us in for an superb meal. Absolutely faultless roast beef for two with all the trimmings you could ask for (and then some)!What excellent value for money: we're already booking for Father's Day.
