The food is delicious and a wonderful theatre. Exquisite. I can’t fault any of it, service is friendly. Speed was admirable.
Went for a bottomless brunch at this cracking little spot. Amazing food, all made with super fresh ingredients. Some of the best pizza I've eaten in a long while. Gorgeous food & fantastic service. Great music as well! Definitely one of the best bottomless brunches I've experienced!
Amazing service and some of the best food I've ever tried, the islander kebab was beautiful and I have found the best baklava ever. I'll be back soon 
Cafe Vie always comes up to the mark. Attention at service is first class. Really lovely food. Simple tasty and delicious. Highly recommend the avocado smash with smoked salmon.We were very well looked after. It’s always a treat to eat here
Another delicious meal at the best restaurant in Wakefield, Syhiba never disappoints. 😋 Always a great service with brilliant members of staff. The Valentines balloons and chocolates were a lovely touch. ❤️ Looking forward to the next time already!
I booked my daughter in laws baby shower at Rich &Fancy Cupcakes and Coffee shop as I’ve visited a few times in the past with friends for lunch.All communication via FB messenger was promptly dealt with by Lou so the booking process was really easy.All dietary needs were accommodated- one being onion free.We opted for the afternoon tea with additional pizza as it was Mum to Be’s favourite.We had exclusivity at the venue which allowed us to add some decorations.The afternoon tea looked amazing and was all very freshly prepared. A really good variety of sandwiches, home made cakes and scones with masses of delicious jam and cream.The freshly made herby crust margarita pizza was just to die for!!!Staff were on hand for additional drinks etc- nothing was too much trouble.Excellent value, exceptional food quality all wrapped in with fabulous customer service Thank you
Absolutely stunning food and fabulous service - greeted by Kane- super welcoming and went above and beyond to make our visit special, Kiki is a great server and attentive :) hats off to the chef as well! Image of pudding cos I ate all the delicious food already
As always great food and atmosphere. We shared numerous tapas which were all delicious. José came out from the kitchen to make sure everyone was happy! Great chef, great bloke!!
The first time we’ve been & I can assure you, it won’t be the last.A lovely, intimate Greek restaurant. Alex (the owner) is so welcoming, the food is so authentic & we would thoroughly recommend. We loved our starters: dips & pita & the chorizo. Mains: our friend; had the Moussaka, my husband had the pork & chicken skewers & I had the lamb tagine. All finished off with a coffee & a Limoncello. Perfection, a hidden gem.
Having travelled down to Wakefield from Glasgow for our annual visit to the rhubarb festival. We visited the Royal Spice on the Friday and it was excellent. Firstly the greeting we received from the staff very friendly, it was very busy however they managed to get us a table very quickly. The food was delicious and and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Unfortunately we will need to wait for another year for our next visit to Wakefield. One thing is certain we will return to the Royal Spice to enjoy the lovely food and brilliant staff.
Sammy and Liam were absolutely amazing this morning! We came from breakfast with family and they were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! Incredible service from the staff!! Foods great too! Can’t wait to see the new look of the pub!

Wanted to go to this restaurant as never been before...was greeted by a young gentleman with smiles and very pleasant..was told about the set buffet for £45 and ordered our drinks...had to wait a while for our drinks and the servers were very pleasant bar from one. I didn't know what the tongs were for but soon realised when he continuously tongs at me whilst he cut the meat...i found the attitude to be unacceptable in the circumstances.
Found this pub enroute to our holiday. Food was lovely, everyone cleared there plates. The guy behind the bar, Danny was great. Friendly service but also serving the food aswell. Pub was busy but he did a great job front of house. Well done on a great service Danny and Scott
We booked in for Sunday lunch for the first time visiting, this was after reading reviews on TA although there were some not so good, the majority were very good , so glad we picked this place. We were booked for 3pm but as it was cold and wet we went an hour earlier to see if we could squeeze in earlier, as soon as I opened the door I knew that wasn’t going to be possible as it was packed out ( a good sign) the young lady explained that it wouldn’t be possible and we totally understood it wasn’t a problem , we went for a coffee and went back at 3pm.We were seated and the menu explained , then drinks and food order taken. We ordered a started and a main, I had the soup which was delicious and not too big, my husband had a smoked haddock scotch egg which he said was lovely. On to the main event Sunday lunch, I had beef hubby had pork belly , both came with mash, Yorkshire pudding and gravy , the sides came separately .. there was loads, we couldn’t believe this was just for 2 people, it would be impossible to come away hungry from the Iris. All in all the meal was faultless service very good. If I am been picky it was a little noisy as it was so busy ( this for the business is a good thing) it does look a little tired and needs re-painting in places and I noticed cobwebs on the light fittings, none of this would stop me booking again, cannot wait to eat from the weekday menu
First visit after many years { not for any particular reason ) The food was really good, fresh and warm. The staff very polite and friendly. I would def recommend a visit and we shall certainly be returning. I have however only given 4 stars because I asked for a coffee with an alternative milk substitute and was offered semi skimmed milk!! I asked again if they had soya or almond etc and they did not. Fortunately , for me, this was a preference and not an allergy otherwise no coffee...a bit poor this day and age I felt.
Lovely restaurant but do not buy gift voucher you get ripped off. I bought £100 voucher for my son when they went they only spent £70 but they wouldn’t give them the balance in a voucher. I was not told this when I purchased it in the restaurant. Absolutely disgusted.
First time at this restaurant.I found the staff friendly and helpful. My husband and myself have dietary requirements gluten and dairy. The chef came out and advised both of us what on the menu he could make for us. We had plenty of choice and the food was delicious. We both ate from the early bird menu. We will definitely be back, highly recommend.
I contacted Tanvis at short notice to cater a large corporate event in Wakefield for 100 people. From the outset the communication was excellent. They listened to what I needed and had great knowledge for a few dietary requirements I had to accommodate. We agreed a price which was excellent value for money. On the day they arrived at the venue perfectly on time. They guys were very smart and professional. All of the food was set up in warmers and wow there was so much of it !!! The quality was phenomenal all of our guests had a wonderful meal. The curry’s were absolutely amazing. I have had fantastic feedback from all our guests that attended the event and even described the food as the best tastiest curry they had had in a long time. Once all of our guests had finished eating I popped a message to them and within minutes they returned to the venue to clean everything down. I would 100% recommend tanvis to anyone looking for an outside caterer. 10/10 from start to finish x
Exceptional service from my original booking through to the evening of our party. The food was delicious & the chef catered for one guest with specific dietary requirements who generally has a small appetite but ate the full dish saying it was excellent! The waitresses & manager were attentive all evening but without being intrusive & we had the bonus of the back room just for our group. A fabulous evening, thanks to all at NoManches, would highly recommend!
