Booked a table arrived and sat down quickly our waitress Holly served us quickly and took our drink order once she brought our drinks she then took our food order and we waited around 20-30 Mins due to being very busy once arrived it was hot and really nice. Great service will be going back again.
What a lovely Friday lunchtime spent in The Acre. Lunch with my partner - and although the chef was only doing pizza menu it was absolutely delicious! We were very impressed with the staff and ambience that they created too - very welcoming, friendly, nothing too much Will be going back!
Lovely pub / hotel in March.Staff very friendly and welcoming, travelling for work on my own. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location. Will recommend The Griffin to colleagues. Room nice and clean. Thank you to all the staff. 
I've been in and out of this place since shortly before my wife and I had our wedding reception here a title over six years ago.Always a friendly reception and always well kept beer.The tables are clean, the khazi is fresh and the location is ideal.Thank you, a great pub and a great team.

Mum and I visited The Exchange in March on Saturday for lunch. We had the Seafood Sharer at £17.95 for two people. It was delicious! And at around £9 each, terrific value. The atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you! 
What a gem of a restaurant, lovely greeting on entering , very friendly staff and the food was delicious, we will definitely be returning and highly recommend a visit.
Did not want to share this as I wanted to keep the Spice Bank all to myself but felt I owed it to them to tell you that the takeaway we had tonight was second to none, tasty, good quality and plentiful.The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is huge. Good fish and chip shop good choice of food friendly staff. The reason I dropped a star is the chips are soggy and very greasy, I have visited a few times and normally have chicken sushi but decided to try the battered sausage and chips batter was nice and crispy and the sausage was very pale. I would like to advise that if you could cook your sausage then batter it it would look better which in turn would make it look more appealing and the chips just need a couple of minutes more to crisp them up which in turn should drain better. I found that this chippy was hard to get in and out of with my wheelchair but if you order over the phone they will bring your food out to you. Great customer service.
This place is insanely good. Like one of those tiny places that should be on a UK version of diners, drive-ins and dives.Two friends who frequent Thailand have come with us and were absolutely blown away by the flavours and authenticity. They said it's as good (maybe better) than anything they'd tried in Thailand. I'm not a seafood fan but the fishcakes are the most incredible morsels of just the right heat & lime leaf you've ever tasted. I would have a plate of those any day.The panang curry is exceptional. Value for money is insane. At lunch times you can order from the bain marie 2 curries and a rice for £8 and the amount of food (& chicken) is incredible. If you're a foodie or any human being with taste buds don't miss this place. A true gem!
We were recommended this pub by our Guest house. We were not disappointed. Although from the outside it doesn't look much it is very friendly and the food was excellent. We had steak and kidney pudding each on the first night and it was so good we went back on the second night for rump steak and lasagne for the two of us. The local beer was wonderful too and at very reasonable prices. It is a very popular pub well patronised and I can quite see why. You can't judge a book by it's cover.
Stayed at the Hippodrome for a short break and had a very, very comfortable room tucked away in a quiet spot. A bed the size of a football pitch awaited us on arrival, it was almost possible to get lost in it. The hectare of mattress was an exceptional way to spend the night and offered comfort the likes of which we'd rarely enjoyed in a hotel. The room was excellent and the bathroom gave us no reason to complain either. Clean, powerful shower, hot water, spot on. The bar is Wetherspoons through and through. A converted cinema, promotional posters adorn the walls offering a fascinating insight into how long the building served it's purpose. The food was good enough without being wonderful and the stay as a whole was perfectly acceptable.
Had the most amazing steak here for lunch cooked exactly how I like it. Full of flavour and all fresh cooked to order. Wheelchair accessible too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Wow what a lovely evening at this restaurant food was so delicious the best meal lve had in a long time.service was amazing the girls were lovely....Couldn't fault anything at all.Please please go for a meal here if you can as you will not be disappointed
Took our friends out for dinner at The Three Tuns and had a fantastic meal. The staff were polite and helpful. The pub caters for food intolerance, which was a rare treat to have such a selection. Also they were able to omit one food item from my chosen dish. So I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely casual village pub. Excellent well done !!!
Went for breakfast, hubby had a farmhouse and I chose the American breakfast. Seemed a little expensive but it was definitely worth it. The American pancakes were the best I've had. Just so fluffy with a good amount of maple syrup. 🍁 hubby enjoyed his to although I was too focused on mine to notice!!!🤣

Great food as always from Tandoori Nights. I was picking up a takeaway for my mum and I. Ordered ahead of time with a time for pick up. The food was ready as planned and delicious. Great customer service and always made to feel very welcome.
