Hubby and I went for lunch. We both had crab legs and they were excellent. Our meal was very reasonably priced. Our waiter was Paulo and we couldn't ask for better! He was very friendly, polite, professional; more than what you could ask for. He took very good care of us. He was prompt and attentive, and we never had to ask for anything. We had great conversation with him and we wish him the very best on his future endeavors. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. You won't be disappointed!
We had pretzels & chorizo beer cheese, mahi with shrimp & crab cakes, phat patty (patty melt), onion rings & brown butter cake. Everything was outstanding! The food was well seasoned & perfectly cooked. Service was great & the atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside, listed to the band at a neighboring establishment & watched the planes take off and land on the lake. We’ll definitely be back! Well worth the hour drive yo get here.
I absolutely love this place. It has a sports bar feel, and the food is off the chain! I‘ve been there countless times over the years and decided to share a review after my most recent excellent experience.I always suggest it for the “best seafood in town.” I look forward to going back again, and again.
Stopped by for an early dinner ahead of a cruise on the Dora Queen. Waitress was fantastic. Atmosphere was perfect. Had a couple cold beers off the marquis offerings for the day. Chose their Rueben and it was brought out within 15 mins after I placed order. Was served super hot and was full of meat and flavor. I’d highly recommend this entree if you get a chance to stop by. This place truly is a diamond in the rough in Tavares.
My wife and Enjoyed the Lake Apopka drive. Saw 45 gators. We wanted to grab a quick lunch together after. We were both very pleased! My wife had the Fried Green Tomatoes BLT and loved it! I had a tuna salad sandwich and truly enjoyed it. We heard the pies are out of this world, but we were stuffed. Will try desert another time. 😎
Went here for lunch for first time after driving by many times and not taking time to stop. Stopped by shortly after opening and had pick of the litter for seating. Sat where had wonderful water view of the Dead River. Ambience & scenery was magnificent. Our waiter was courteous and on his game during our stay. I had the fish tacos which were very satisfying. Beer was served super cold. Noted several boaters docking and making their way into restaurant during our stay. I’d recommend this for your next pick when you’re looking for a relaxing experience and meal on the water.
This is an interesting place. Sit down, look over the menu and then get up and order at the register. You’ll get a number and your order will be delivered to your table. Cocktails and wine are ordered next door at their lounge, Crafted Concoctions. ( they also own a brewery in the rear of the building). The menu is large and unique (also DELICIOUS). The drinks from next door are among the best around. It’s a fantastic place
My husband & I discovered Billy’s Cafe last fall. In support of small businesses, we decided to stop & check it out. We were sure glad we did. Billy’s Cafe is a hidden gem that we wished we discovered long ago before now. The staff is extremely friendly, fast, but accurate. We’re not a fan of their coffee, not sure what brand they use, but breakfast was absolutely delicious….omelettes & pancakes were big & satisfying. As one waitress stated, ask for extra crispy hash browns. You won’t regret it! We can’t seem to make it past the breakfast menu to try lunch b/c the breakfast is so darn good. Billy’s is now our go to place to eat when we’re in the area. We’ve been there several times & every time the service & food has been great, even when they’re busy & that’s usually every time we’ve been there…tells you something doesn’t it?
Fast and friendly service. But the food was amazing. Large servings that were more than we could finish. The price was affordable and was not at the expense of quality or quantity. Will be back

Dinner at the 441 Diner was exactly as I had hoped for: variety of menu choices, reasonable prices, pretty busy (although tinted windows make it appear closed from parking lot)I thoroughly enjoyed the country fried steak w/mashed potatoes and flavorful green beans! $20
Stopped for lunch on a quiet rainy Monday afternoon I had BLT, son had hamburger, husband had wings all very good! My BLT had 6-8 pieces of bacon, thick slices of tomato.
Yummy and lot’s of options! Cute building. Makes you feel like a kid again. Good value.The outdoor seating is nice, gives you a chance to talk to other people.
Great little brew house. They are trying to promote local beer along with a wide variety of others from all over. The bar is cement and it feels cool and it really works well keeping your beer chilled. Room for lots of people, front bar, middle bar and 4 nicely finished picnic tables. Good service, friendly and attentive. Lots of cool chilled options in coolers if the taps are not your thing. Good tunes at least right now! Tom Petty is always appropriate
This place is legit! First timers. Our server Dee is AMAZING!! Attentive, informative and responsive!!Food is great and atmosphere is awesome!
This place has an amazing vibe. They have put lots of work into creating a fun, funky space. Lots of variety on the menu, plus coffee, bottled sodas, and adult bevys. So yummy and fun! 
Backs up to a lake, very relaxing .. we sat outside of course had drinks and an appetizer, had the nachos with chicken and of course being in FL had to have the Miami Vice frozen drink ... Jennifer our bartender was very nice 
Great service and cigar selection. Lots of options for beer and wine. Folks are friendly, and the service was first class!
Great Pizza, Great staff! Visited on a recent golf tournament for my daughter. I recommend the garlic knots and the Quattro Formaggi pizza. We ordered an 18” and it was huge. The good news was we finished it off for breakfast! Highly recommend.
