Stumbled on this place on a Sunday morning, looked busy (a good sign).Tempted by the bacon and cheese "tear & share" yummy. Also the lamb pie, delicious, large cappuccino was really nice too.Highly recommend this place and we didn't even try the cakes !
We had a delicious lunch today, beautiful Chinese food and the lady serving us was very friendly. We also noticed an RV stop here which would be an excellent place to stay next time we pass by. Highly recommend this cafe
Travelling up the east coast on holidays we are always looking for the best places for coffee! Would recommend, we came here 3 times during our short stay.
Generally good. Food was good, but nothing to rave about. A little pricey. Lots of birds snatching your food if you’re seated outside, never lead your food unattended. Ordered1) Fish & Chips2) Crumbed Shack Pack3) Seafood Chowder4) Lobster Roll (burger bread)The seafood chowder was my favourite. Generous with seafood and packed with flavour. The other 2 items were slightly disappointing.
The restaurants is overlooking the lovely bay where penguins used to come en masse ( before global warming and a change of their seasonal habits)Food is simple but very fresh and good. Service is very attentive and friendly.
We were staying in an apartment just across the road so it was an easy decision after a days driving, to just head to a nearby restaurant. What we chose did not disappoint in any way. It was superb.
Great fish and chips. Haft whiting with fish cake, potato cake, scallops, battered oysters. were a bit late in the afternoon as all the natural oysters were sold by the battered oysters were just suoerb. Could have had half a doz of them they were so good. Owner said he could shuck some so they were FRESH. Chips were out of this world good. Ate them just down the road looking at the azure blue sea off Bicheno Mate! Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our dinner. My wife had the Fish of the Day which was Blue in a green curry sauce which she rated as delicious. I had a steak with potatoes and leafy salad. This meal was also terrific although I felt the steak lacked the flavour but that is more the way the beef was raised and fed rather than how it was prepared. All in all a great meal.
If you would like a terrific vege burger, head to this takeaway shop! Very tasty and well made with lots of yummy ingredients.
This is a great place to see Oscar Richard’s he is very hot and the chippies are good aswell. U should definitely go here and try Oscar’s chocolate ice cream
Der mit Abstand geilste Kaffee bislang hier auf TAS. Alleine schon die Art, wie er zubereitet wird sorgt dafür, dass man genau dieses später auch schmeckt.Hier lässt sich jemand absolut nicht aus der Ruhe bringen und lebt es, den Kaffee für den Kunden zuzubereiten.Als Tipp, kauft auf jeden Fall auch eins seiner Brote. Spätestens wenn ihr es in der Hand habt, werdet ihr erschrocken sein, wie schwer die sind. Daher überrascht es wenig, dass sie auch absolut lecker sind.Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis !
A lovely little hole in the wall cafe with some delicious treats in the cabinet, all freshly made on site. The owner/operator is friendly and service is prompt. Some locally produced souvenirs are also available for purchase, so your money stays in the community. Coffee galore, a range of milks along with the variety of hot chocolate choices were tasty and we returned multple times during our stay. 
This tavern is part of the Beachfront Bicheno motel. We ate here both nights of our stay at the motel and really enjoyed our meals. Salmon, Guinness and Beef Pie, Sausages and mash, Curry night. All the food was well prepared and tasty - bistro quality rather than your average pub fare. Staff were friendly, music was great. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
Short staffed but still quick. We had takeaway and it was delicious. Larger serves than normal. The special fried rice was especially nice. 
We spent Christmas at Beachfront and booked for Christmas lunch at the Longboat Tavern. The special Christmas lunch was very well done, and the team went to a great amount of trouble to provide festive decorations and atmosphere. The dinners we had on Christmas Eve, and afterwards were excellent. There is a good choice, and every meal was very well cooked and delicious. A very pleasant stay.
