Amazing Experience!Great service.Gluten Free & Vegan baked goods are incredible!An absolute must stop when traveling Hwy 11.
My wife and I went for New Years Eve. We have eaten at the restaurant many times since 2015. My wife had the salmon dinner with a Caesar salad, I had the steak with a garden salad. Both meals were exceptional. Steak was prepared as I like. We both had desert, my wife had the New Years special, eggnog cheese cake and I had the apple crisp. Service was excellent as we had Sharon for a waitress, ironically she was the first waitress we had on our first of many trips. It is not uncommon to have other waitresses that we know come over to say hello. A really good sense of a family atmosphere. Thanks for the wonder night.
So delicious, fragrant, satisfying! We had take out pad see-ew and Shanghai spicy noodle. We loved it. Worth the drive to Orillia. It’s approximately our 10th take out here. Always delicious
We had never been here before and was looking for something quiet for date night.I ordered the special, a lamb shank with a crab cake, vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes, my wife ordered the salmon entreeThe food was excellent for both of us, and I would recommend anyone looking for a quaint atmosphere dining experience to come here.Like most restaurants staff looked limited but our waitress was excellent with a great sense of humour and didn’t skip a beat bringing our meals while checking in throughout the meal to make sure we were ok.As they say “ you gotta eat here”We’ll be back
Newly decorated and redone. Quick and friendly staff. Best cappuccino in town!! Gelato and smoothies now in the back as well
We dropped in Sat.Dec.7, 2024 right at 4:00pm opening with no reservations. The host welcomed us to one available table near the entrance, as all other tables were reserved. We scanned the menu and were delighted at the very reasonable pricing.We split a large Caesar salad, and ordered two different pizza's accompanied with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The salad was about an 8/10 compared to other restaurants we've been to. The two pizza's were excellent and very tasty. Our server was : Josh, who told us he had only been employed there for about two weeks, yet he was very attentive and took care of us as expected. We ended the meal with a warm chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and an espresso and cappuccino. We were pleasantly surprised at how small the bill total was, as compared to similar dishes ordered at other restaurants. Yes, it was our first time at Rustica, and we will definitely return.
during a recent stop to tour the many amazing shops in downtown Orillia, we decide based on Trip Advisor reviews to try this establishment for lunch, having a very nice elevated patio out front on a nice warm, sunny October day did help to make the choice somewhat easier & we weren't disappointed ! from the friendly charm of our servers to the extensive drink & food menu it was all great. My wife chose the mile high corned beef sandwich & I went with the great Canadian burger, 6 oz fresh beef, cheese, bacon, crispy onion strings all good. I ordered the Maple Whisky bbq sauce on the side & was glad I did as to me personally it was too sweet. There are many great establishments on what I personally consider 1 of the top 3 historical downtown streets in the outlying gta area. Hope you try & enjoy as much as we did

Great good and prices. 10/10! Would come back on our next trip. Loved the Philly cheese steak sandwiches and onion rings. Best chocolate milk my kids have ever had. Definitely a hidden gem!!!!
7 of us went for a Birthday Celebration. The Restaurant let us bring our own cake! We were served by Venus who was absolutely delightful. Venus was attentive, charming. Our order was perfect. I have to say that Venus made the evening for us with everything being perfect. So thank you Venus. Our group will be back.
I had the gnocchi, my friend had the caesar salad and we shared kettle chips with tzatziki and carmelized onion dip. My gnocchi was amazing! Excellent texture and taste. I am not a vegan but I was very impressed. Definitely tasty and fulfilling. My friend found the salad refreshing. The portions are generous and just right. Definitely worth a try.
Came for a girls night out for a friends birthday. Our waitress was very personable and piano player was a bonus. Food was excellent. Birthday dessert was fun as was the happy birthday song. Two others were celebrating obvious the place to be. Cheers.
We had lunch here last week and really enjoyed it. It's clean and bright, staff were friendly and attentive. We all had a salad bowl. Loved the brown basmati rice. A nice addition to Lake Country.
My veggie omelette was tasty along w/ my wife's croque madame. We enjoyed the potato waffle and fresh fruit. Comfortable atmosphere. See you again.
Excellent fish & chips. Very generous portions. Quick service. Good value.Server constantly on the move. Only downside is that there’s very few tables available as the dining room is quite small and both times we’ve been there (once for lunch and once for dinner) there were no cubicles open.
Ambiance is amazing with an assortment of sport objects inside including a motor cycle. A park is close my to take your coffee or just enjoy the atmosphere inside.Delicious! Friendly staff.
Excellent food and staff polite and friendly. The fish is amazing and cooked perfect. Always enjoy John serving us so pleasant and always smiling. I highly recommend you try it out
This was our first time at Hill’s. The outside is deceiving of its quality. According to the signs, this place has been around since 1926. If you want a meal that feels like it came from grandmas kitchen, this is it. The burgers were larger than expected and quite tasty. Although we ordered fries, we were quite full after only the burger. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed our experience.
Came across this place on our way to another local restaurant. Looked good.so we went in.Great service, food was tasty and reasonably priced. Had a nice home.made vibe to it.Would recommend and will return. 
First time, trying out this restaurant. Quite classy interior. Different experiance, but positive. Service was great. Food was unbelievably good! Definatly going to return.
