The best coffee, breakfast and service! Our waitress was extremely friendly and the food was prepared to perfection.I even bought a bottle of the hot sauce to take back home with me!
We stopped for breakfast/brunch on our way home to Cape Town. It was a lovely cool morning so the scenery was beautiful. The food was delicious and the toilets with a view were surprising!It’s not far out of the way during the road trip and worth the time spent, with a petrol station down the road for a refuel opportunity.

Went for 2 nights, weather not great, the pub brilliant and a warm wood fire.Restaurant great as well the food excellent the pies are the best I have had in ages, staff great. Worth a visit.
Delicious lunch on the patio. Duck pate was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meals. My steak Dianne was great accompanied by divine potato croquettes (makes such a difference from chips). Having mobility restrictions, they were very helpful to make sure I was assisted. It is a bit far off the beaten track but nice for a day out in the country and well worth it.
Great alfresco and dog friendly restaurant in the Midlands!Centrally located in the Village, this fabulous cafe has a wonderful vibe.The staff are attentive and happily fill the dogs’ water bowls too.There is plenty of space for kids to run around and there is a great play area.The food is delicious and there is a wide variety on offer.A firm favourite of mine in Notties.
The restaurant was super cozy with a blazing fire! I had the Misty Morning and my teenager had the vegan french toast and eggs benedict. He loved the vegan french toast so much he ordered a second portion (and he's not vegan). My Misty Morning had the most amazing steak i've had in awhile. Service was great -quick & friendly
Great to be seated outdoors under the big tree. Pork pie was very good but the cheese platter was a bit of a let down. Four cheese but three were pretty similar in taste. Delightful G&T on tap and fairly interesting wine list with a wide range of wines so you don't need to break the bank.The indoor pub also has a lot of character and would love to be there on a busy night once Covid is over with the fire burning in the background.
We had dinner and were impressed with the restaurant. The portions are small but well presented and tasty. Dr The staff were friendly but a bit on the slow side and inattentive at times. Nice ambience but unfortunately there were smokers sitting outside and with the open doors the smoke came into the restaurant. Also went to the casual Skyfall restaurant for a great lunch. Both restuarants are recommend.
We were a table of 8 and celebrating a birthday. The Host was amazing. Food outstanding. The star dish of they day was the Chicken Roulade! This is our 4th time to Fork & Cleaver and they never seem to disappoint! Keep It UP!
Awesome, quaint little restaurant with the tastiest food and excellent service. Absolutely love them.
