Lovely lunch at the shed today, quite busy so pleased we booked a table beforehand, food was superb and service was very friendly, nice selection of local beers too. Dog friendly at lunchtime downstairs which was perfect, visited a few times for dinner lunch & take away, never dissapoints 👍
This place was a little gem of a find for us on a wintery stormy evening in February. Staff were very friendly and welcoming but what sets this place apart is the character and charm of the pub itself, steeped in history. That, and the food! Delicious starters and then our mains…I had a fantastic lamb cawl and my partner said his fish pie was the best he’d ever had. No room for dessert but was tempted by the delights on offer. We’d walked from Abereiddy to Porthgain along the coastal path in the day and said next time we’d go the opposite direction and back so we could find ourselves in the Sloop at the end of it!
