Fantastic lunch! We were driving through and wanted to try a local place for lunch, so glad we did! We had the Fried Green Tomato BLT sandwich with a side of the braised cabbage—YUM. Service was very quick and everyone was so friendly. Definitely don’t miss this wonderful place if you are anywhere near Florence!
We stumbled upon this place, while staying one night in Florence, by Googling restaurants near our hotel. Lucky us! Fabulous food - she crab soup, broiled oysters, calamari, etc. Great laid-back atmosphere and terrific service (thank you, Ashlyn!) completed a great experience.
Wholly Smokin’ BBQ & Ribs – Local BBQ place in the Florence Historic District. We “bellied up to the bar” and Drew was there to take care of us. Great service-oriented bartender, talked us thru the happy hour selections and provided some suggestions for dinner. We went with the BBQ Pimento Cheese sandwich and the Burnt Ends Platter, sides of coleslaw, mac cheese & beans. A good compliant was the mustard BBQ sauce. I have not seen this outside of SC. Quite an original taste. No complaints on anything.
I have had multiple amazing dishes at Victors including the brisket sandwich, filet medallions, and the Tuscan chicken flatbread.The bartender- Logan- is amazing. He is so attentive to his customers and his martinis are amazing. I highly recommend the pineapple upside down martini and the chocolate martini. Victors is a definite must visit restaurant in Florence especially if you sit at the bar when Logan is working!
Went here December 2022 for our unit dinner, there are a lot of dining areas, great for big groups. The food and service are good
Rebel Pie – Nice little place that served up a yummy pie. We ordered the MEAT QUARTET (Fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, bacon. $15). Just YUMMY & more than enough for the two of us with a couple beers. Service was quick, efficient & friendly.
We ordered The Funky Q Chicken and Holy Shiitake Pie to go. It was quick service, generous toppings, and deliciously creative combinations. I am really unhappy to know that there are no Mellow Mushroom locations northeast of Virginia. It was that good!
My wife and I had the good fortune to eat at Town Hall during a recent visit to Florence, SC. The food was superb. We had a sausage appetizer which was served with delicious pickles and a spicy mustard. My wife had shrimp and grits which she said were the best she had ever eaten. I had pecan crusted salmon with chard and a sweet potato purée. It was delicious. The most extraordinary aspect of our visit was the level of hospitality. It was my birthday which was mentioned in the reservation. I received a card signed by the staff. The manager contacted my wife earlier in the day and asked about my hobbies, which include doing crossword puzzles. The manager actually wrote a food themed crossword for us. So, overall, great food and the epitome of Southern hospitality, a combination that is tough to beat!
Trio of dips was great, poke bowl was delicious although it left me wanting more, margarita was top notch. Service was efficient.
Food is very Good, nice and generous staff, very clean restaurant, order are brought out on time, Team greets you with a smile.
While traveling home from Florida we stopped for an early dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a fantastic burger, cooked perfectly and my husband had a grilled chicken combo sandwich which he enjoyed. Great beer selection, although my beer was a little flat.

Excellent variety of homemade dishes on the lunch menu. Great flavor.Love their roasted garlic and oil with the bread. Very happy with service as well. Would stop by again for lunch when I'm in the area.
We went to El Dos Agaves the sister restaurant. Nachos Supreme was a huge amount of deliciousness. We will definitely come back. Everyone friendly. The manger engaged in a friendly conversation.
The food was delicious, seasoned perfectly and at the correct temperature. I ordered the French toast with bacon,grits, sunnyside up eggs and a side of hashbrowns which you could taste a hint of butter. My partner ordered waffles and chicken, all that I can say is that I wanted his chicken that was deliciously seasoned to perfection with a crisp. Yummy 
After 13+ hours of driving from The Keys to Florence, we decided to Uber to Southern Hops in Florence. The waiter Jack made the experience fun! The food was delicious & the beer (& strong water on the rocks) was the perfect end to a long day of delving. I highly recommend finishing your evening at this brewery.
We stopped in for dinner and had shredded chicken quesadillas and chicken fajitas. Both were excellent. This was our second visit & both times the food was excellent. Full of flavor. Service was good, restaurant was clean, & we enjoyed dinner. Well done!!
My Mother and I were delighted with Alexis on 2/6/2025. She made us feel like we were at home! She should be presented as the model of Olive Garden! The food was fresh and satisfying! Also, I want to give a shout out to the staff members who were on duty that day!!!
best brisket sandwich i've ever had. my only complaint was the roll gets soggy with all the delish juices
We enjoyed our high tea. Everything was lovely, including the interior decor. The high tea is quite pricey but I think that's just how it goes. Service is slow but friendly.
