This hotel was great! We stayed at Comfort suites medical center for 2 nights and 3 days! The breakfast was great! The pool and hot tub were definitely the perfect temperature! The hotel room was also beautiful! The bathroom was great, the TV worked, the beds were comfortable, and the couch was nice and comfy!! Overall, I would go to this hotel again! I would definitely recommend it for a great hotel!
The front desk guy was the rudest person I have ever interacted with at a hotel. My partner and I booked a room, called the hotel saying we were going to be late and he said it’s okay. When we came to check in, the front desk guy said he canceled the reservation and said they had no vacancy. He later said he didn’t cancel it to try and save himself. My partner talked to the manager on the phone, and she threatened to call the cops because my partner said the front desk guy was rude upon arrival, not helpful and canceled our reservation. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry all my life and stayed in many hotels, I’ve never experienced something like this. According to other google reviews, this isn’t the first time they threatened with cops towards paying guests. You do not treat your guests like this. We were lucky enough to find a different hotel on short notice.
I do not recommend this location whatsoever. They un-welcome their guests into the establishment when they should be doing the opposite. Stay away from this hotel at ALL Costs. You do NOT deserve to be mistreated.
From check-in to check-out this was a nice experience. Very friendly and kind gal working at the desk. Both the room and the bathroom are spacious and clean! Breakfast was a bit above average, well stocked and clean. We would stay here again! Sickies Garage is very close and great place to get a burger and a beer! We also enjoyed Bonanzaville, a wonderful nearby attraction.
My wife and I checked in to the Fargo N.D. Comfort Suites motel March 18/'24 with our legally registered service dog in training. During breakfast, the Manager, Amy Shockman, rudely and abusively started yelling at me and told me I could not have my service animal there. My wife later became involved and asked Ms. Shockman "Why are you yelling at us and being so disrespectful"? her reply was, "That's just the way I talk~!" We asked her for Corporate contacts and she responded, "I don't have to give that to you and will not giver that to you." She dared us to file a complaint. She then walked away and left us standing at the front desk. We are now filing a complaint with the Motel Corporation and the ADA due to Ms. Shockman's extremely unprofessional behavior and blatant violation of ADA regulations. We left the Motel early, completely dissatisfied.
Our service dog was later allowed and welcomed into two high end restaurants with open arms and they fully accommodated us and our very well mannered service animal with no conflict what so ever.
We ABSOLUTELY recommend that you find another Motel to stay at. This one, under this horrible "Manager" proves to be a very hostile environment, (according to other reviews on this site, dating back to the previous year.) For some reason, the Corporate management still allows this Manager to remain at her job in spite of all the negative reviews. The manager's passive responses to her bad reviews do not reflect her true interactions with her guests.
Breakfast bar was poor. The room was run down and dirty. The front desk service was very good. We have stayed here in previous times and been satisfied. This hotel is getting worn out and it shows. We would not stay here again. Overpriced for what you get, very equivalent to an econolodge or something
I owe a HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF in Fargos Comfort Suites!!! I seriously couldn't have asked for better hotel than this one. They have been SUPER SUPER HELPFUL and so amazing to myself and my toddler! They've gone above and beyond helping us and working with us on a day to day basis. Total Patience and hands down to this place! AMY the gm has been nothing but fabulous and caring. Thank you Amy and front desk staff housekeeping and everyone of the wonderful staff for making us feel so welcome and very safe comfortable and your patience and understanding. You really don't know how grateful I am of yall!! Ty

The rooms were filthy, we had 2 rooms & didn’t stay in one because of how gross it was. The keys were returned right away to the front desk. The manager lied & said we vandalized the smoke detector. The corporate office said it’s at the managers discretion! We lifted the mattresses(as I do in every hotel) to check for bed bugs & she claimed this is the worst thing we can do! And stated that they only have to clean under the mattress once a year! GROSS!! Horrible management!!
They are awesome best place in Fargo to stay at, and they serve hot fresh baked cookies at the front desk it was amazing. Pool and fitness center was very convenient with new equipment in the fitness center which was nice to see, management was going above and beyond.
Worst customer service my wife and I ever experienced. We are very experienced international travelers and never have we felt this level of frustration and disappointment. The front desk staff untrained, understaffed, unfriendly, unhappy and not experienced in conflict resolution. Very quick to blame the customer. Perhaps we came on a bad day for the General Manager and the Front Desk Manager. We are unable to recommend this hotel to anyone. The facility is clean and nice and the location is very good. Shopping, dining and entertainment. But poor staff moral/attitude and terrible service can ruin your stay as we unexpectedly found out.
IF YOU LIKE HAIR ON YOUR PILLOWS AND A DIRTY ROOM WITH EYLASHES EVERYWHERE. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. IT WAS BROUGHT FORWARD TO MANAGMENT AND THE BEST WE GOT WAS "THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW" THIS PLACE NEEDS A NEW MANAGER, ITS GONE DOWN HILL.
