This place is an amazing place to take your whole family and have a great time! My kids love it! We spent 40 bucks and got to play all day!
On our way from Wisconsin to Tennessee, we stopped at the Columbian Park Zoo. Great wildlife exhibits, a pleasant little train ride. When we got to our destination in Tennessee, I realized I had lost the spare key fob for my car. Staff at the zoo were very accommodating. They actually found the fob and mailed it back to me in Wisconsin. That’s service!
Fabulous Docents..Beautiful Art....Docent on friday who lives 3 blocks away was incredibly helpful and knowledgable and informed...so much worth seeing
This winery has a great weekend staff who are friendly and accommodating. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing and they took the time for us to do a wine tasting. They did not pressure us to buy anything (although we did because it tasted good). This ended up being a very nice visit.
It is an extremely beautiful orchard- perfect for a peaceful fall afternoon. The staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. They get a special shoutout as one of them even changed my tire for me.
We loved this memorial garden. There are several paths to take from easy to difficult - very peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful discovery. Small art museum with wonderful exhibits. A lot from local artists and students. Lafayette must have a thriving art scene as I was amazed at the variety of wonderful pieces. It’s free but make sure and donate. The staff is excellent and very friendly.
Just like our brew pub at home-locals hanging out for a beer. Very welcoming. The flatbread special was very good! Our timing was off-very limited beer selection available-but that is not unusual for small breweries. The beer we had was very good and the bartenders were friendly.
Amazing place to be! Service pet friendly! We had a great day! They were very kind. A tad pricey but a lovely family friendly environment!
It is a big and very organised park. The kids had different activities to do there. You can ride a boat and small train. You can do barbecue and enjoy with your family or friends.
I love to visit the Sculpture Garden at the Haan Museum throughout the year to see the seasonal changes in the wildflowers and around the sculptures.
They have a nice selection of antiques at reasonable prices. Some of the flea market areas aren’t as interesting, but that’s probably a personal preference. It seems that items change often, and you never know what you might find. Employees aren’t the friendliest or most helpful, so be prepared.

We visited Lafayette / West Lafayette, IN for my uncle’s funeral.
When in Lafayette, you can readily see the Tippecanoe County Courthouse, as its center tower is prominent in the skyline.
We had a few extra minutes when we were downtown so I went inside. This is a working courthouse, so security is important; the policeman at the metal detector shared interesting facts and pointed me to get a guide from the one office on the fourth floor, which I did.
- Tippecanoe County Courthouse (not the Lafayette City Hall), just because we could - Second Empire style
- Plaque to the Erie & Wabash canal

- Statues in the Rotunda - Tecumseh, John Purdue, Gen. William Henry Harrison, William Bigby
- 1906 cage elevator
- Bison statue, with a Cardinal and Indiana flag on it

Staff at Inspired Fire are friendly and helpful. The gallery is amazing with more than just glass. There are even pieces from the TV show Blown Away artists. AND, you don't just have to limit yourself to looking and watching others. They offer a variety of classes with expert instruction. Sharon, the owner, has had amazing experiences and has helped with classes at Pilchuk glass school and traveled to Italy to work with glass. Best of all, Sharon and staff are very accommodating and welcoming 
Wow I love this place! Half hidden city brewery, fun bar area, and they do it right! Glad to have a replacement for my dearly departed Escape Velocity who has gone up to that big vat in the sky leaving me with only Teays River for hearty dark stouts. But hey, enter Knapptronix and their wiley ways with sours, oh bless me! I've sampled most of the menu the past months now, eager for their winter stuff, can happily say it's all good. Rich, creamy, enticing on all sorts of flavors, and we have had excellent service too. Alas no foods but thankfully Revolution BBQ, Lafayette Brewing company, and a many other top notch option are on this main downtown drag. It is too easy for me to give a ten for anyplace service a quality spur yet they do more than one here! Come try everything and get a growler or two, I have and definitely will again.
