I've had this place on my list for a long time. It was fun to finally go. We arrived early and the conductor allowed us to board early as well. The train cars were decorated with lots of cobwebs, skeletons, etc for Halloween. We sat in first class which offered non-alcoholic beverages with a Halloween theme. They also had regular sodas and water too. Our ticket included "snacks" which comprised of packaged mini pretzels and rice krispy treats. We were hoping for more snacks than that, but the friendly customer service made up for it. The best part was the drive thru the hills. It was only 45 minutes long, but long enough to make it feel like a true journey.
At the end of the ride, the train stopped at the exhibit hall which housed other trains, including a haunted one. It was all very fun!
