The intricate wood carvings are incredible, and the whole place has a peaceful ambiance, even with other tourists around. We spent a while just wandering through the halls, admiring the craftsmanship. It's definitely a must-see for the cultural experience, even if you're not usually into temples.
A heritage site with 729 small pagodas surrounding a Big Pagoda. inscriptions on white marble placed in each pagoda. historically and spiritually important place with the worlds largest book.. see it to believe. worth a few pictures.
The Mahamuni Buddha statue is like something out of an Indiana Jones movie! It's covered in so much gold leaf, it's almost blinding. We were surprised by how busy and lively the atmosphere was, with locals making offerings and monks chanting. Definitely a must-see, even if it's a bit overwhelming.
沿途一排排白塔是攝影愛好者必拍之景，在tripadvisor 看到不少優秀的相，可惜到訪當日天陰下雨，甚煞風景，即使旱季來還是有機會下雨呢。
Είναι ένα μοναστήρι φτιαγμένο ολόκληρο από ξύλο τικ που πρωτοκτίσθηκε το 1593,κάηκε μερικώς το 1821 και ξαναεπισκευάσθηκε τα επόμενα χρόνια. Έχει 57 μέτρα ύψος και 31 μέτρα πλάτος. Είναι διακοσμημένο με ξυλογλυπτικές εικόνες ,έργα απείρου κάλους, Βιρμανέζικης αρχιτεκτονικής . Αληθινό κόσμημα!!.
The panoramic views of the city and beyond took our breath away. As we reached the top, the golden pagodas sparkled in the distance. We shared a quiet moment, soaking in the beauty of the sunset together.
瑪哈木尼寺院中的正殿內，有一座金碧輝煌的大佛，無時無刻都有信眾進入幫大佛貼上金箔，象徵尊敬與祈福，也成為這座寺院的一大特色
Διασχίσαμε με φέρυμποτ τον ποταμό Irrawaddy βλέποντάς την φύση και φθάνοντας σε ένα νησί έξω από το Μινγκούν αντικρύσαμε ένα ημιτελές οικοδόμημα. Το έργο ξεκίνησε από τον Βασιλιά Βodawpara to 1790 για να επιβλέπει προσωπικά την κατασκευή του ναού. Χρησιμοποιήθηκαν χιλιάδες αιχμάλωτοι για την κατασκευή της στούπας και μετά το έργο καθυστέρησε γιατί μία διάδοση έλεγε ότι ο βασιλιάς θα πέθενε όταν το έργο τελείωνε. Έτσι το έργο εγκαταλείφθηκε έχοντας ύψος 50 μέτρων. Ο σεισμός του 1839 προκάλεσε τεράστιες ρωγμές που διακρίνονται μέχρι σήμερα. Ο ναός χρησιμεύει ως αξιοθέατο παρά ως θρησκευτικός χώρος
經典的建築，白色的非常漂亮且意義深遠。建築物本身非常好看，很推薦大家來到這裡看看這個佛寺。有段時間在維修但好險去的時候能看全貌。
記得提早訂票，位子越後面越容易被人群擋住，晚上會有一點蚊子，記得噴防蚊油。可以欣賞緬甸傳統木偶秀的好地方，讓人訝異木偶可以如此精細地操作，動作微妙微肖。如果提早抵達戲院，可拍照留念。
喜迎賓寺院位在曼德勒市區西側，離玉石市場僅約500公尺，此寺院以一座柚木建築聞名，不過遊客並不多，所以可以細細品味參觀，而且免費入寺

If you like very crowded places, this one is for you! It is a once in a lifetime experience. I'm glad we went, but won't go back. Foreigners have to pay a small entry fee.
Visited the Royal Palace .in Feb 23. The Palace and grounds are built over a large area in Mandalay itself. Foreigners have to deposit their Passport to gain entrance. Also a hefty fee has to be paid. So much to see but hardly any visitors.
When King Mindon Min founded Mandalay in 1857 he ordered construction of a new Royal Palace called the Mya Nan San Kyaw. The old Royal Palace in the former capital Amarapura was dismantled, transported to Mandalay and rebuilt there.
The Mandalay Royal Palace is the last Palace built by Burmese Royals. On the large complex are dozens of buildings including audience halls, throne halls, a monastery, a watch tower, a court building, a tooth relic building and a library where the Buddhist scriptures were kept.
Zegyo 市場是曼德勒市內最大的市場，除了一棟大型商場外，也包含周邊街區的主要攤販集中區，生活物資應有盡有，來此走逛體驗庶民生活的縮影
用電動樓梯便可到達這座寺，到埗第一件事，是乖乖繳付只收遊客的拍照費，但負責收費的伯伯很健談。雖然是在山上，地板卻是很乾淨，寺院的玻璃砌磚很美，地方不是很大，可同時看到山下的景色。離開就用升降機，不用走樓梯。
位置在於固都陶佛塔附近, 可以和曼德勒山一齊遊覽。
這個寺廟的氣勢磅礡, 很值得來(最可惜是重建的,不然更值得來)。
