An amazing day from start to finish. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Food was delicious and quick service. Only bad comment was a few of the animals were hiding but will get to see them next time.
Absolutely brilliant experience. Sraf and amazingly friendly and knowledgable.
The exhibits are stunning. Hidden gem that cant be forgotten along with the many many generations of heros.

My twin brother and I were exploring around the wonderful historic Roman walled city of Chester when we passed St John The Baptist Church, viewed it before on many occasions over the years and it still impresses me.
St Johns The Baptist Church was formally Chester Cathedral and founded in the 7th century by the Anglo - Saxons ,the church itself is considered one of the best examples of a church building dating from the 11th/12th century in Cheshire,although little changed over the centuries it was damaged during the English Civil War but repaired in the following centuries, its a beautiful church to view, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along St John Street by the Roman Amphitheatre .
We walked right round the walls in Chester. The majority of the time you are able to walk on the walls, but as they aren’t complete there was some short periods where you had to walk on the pavement. We had a really good time walking around the walls, we started and ended at the clock but you are able to get off and on at multiple points. The walls are quite level so it is easy to walk on, but there are a couple of steps, and in places a lot of steps to get on or off. If you have mobility issues you may not be able to go right round.
Amazing building so much to look at and si much bigger than I thought it was. Min £5 donation to go inside trust me it's worth it.
There's also a garden in the middle with an amazing water feature, we sat in therefor awhile as it was so peaceful.
While we were exploring there was an Elvis singer performing some songs getting ready for there show on the night, so we sat and listened for a while too. Lovely large gardens around the cathedral too and plenty of benches.
There's so much to look at while your walking around and there's also a gift shop and toilet just in case.
Will definitely visit again
Victorian park first opened in 1867 given to the city by Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster sits next to the River Dee. Nice paths to walk along, lots of benches to sit on, a coffee shop to get refreshments and a miniature railway for children. Very friendly squirrels, that are used to people feeding them monkey nuts. Great place for everyone.
A very good example of historical characters of Chester with the main street and a second street on top. The buildings and structures are beautiful especially the painted wooden beams on the outside that are painted black, the uneven houses . It's a wonderful condition that these houses are kept in. 
A clock on top of the city wall that's hard to miss in the centre of Chester. Easily accessible via staircase from either side of the shops. 
Wonderful scenery, riverboats, walks, pubs, restaurants, ice cream, bandstand, listen to street musicians, photoshoots, read book, has it all...
I went with my Year 5 class, yesterday! The trip was amazing - full of fun, great activities, a great host and lots of exciting, hands on activities! The children loved it - would highly recommend!
The young lads that drive the trains clearly love their job and were great with my kids. They took them on 3 rides around the park and made sure they had a big smile all the way around.
Located in the beautiful and historic St Michael's Church is Sick To Death ,a really fun attraction that's most definitely well worth checking out.
A trip throughout the ages of the way medical care has progressed, its fascinating, its gory and most importantly its fun ,walking out after our visit I was hit by the thought that I'm so glad we have the N.H S with its state of the art treatment for when we feel poorly, a must go attraction if you're planning a trip to Chester, easy to locate along Bridge Street and held in St Michael's Church. 
Chester Canal meanders it's way through the Historic Roman walled city of Chester, built by civil engineer Thomas Telford and completed in 1835 ,its a beautiful canal ,lovely watching the barges trundle through the city ,its a great walk as well following the line of the canal ,if you're planning a trip to Chester its most definitely well worth checking out. 
Very lucky to live in Chester and have this on our doorstep!!
Have been multiple times just with my wife and as a family with our two younger children (9&11) but finally getting around to leave a review.
On this occasion we went to see Great Gatsby as a b’day treat for my wife… We planned for rain but was blessed with a perfect summers night!
Packed some nibbles & plenty of bubbly. Pre-ordered a pizza that we collected at the interval to help soak up the booze.
Great performance!!

Chester Roman Gardens is an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city of Chester.
Free to enter ,its a beautifully well kept garden area with Roman ruins in ,lots of interest in here ,sculptures,mosaics and well kept trails to wander through, there's boards giving details about various area's of the garden area ,its most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a trip to Chester and easy to locate along Pepper Street. 
Wow...the kind of museum I didn't think existed anymore, reminded me of school trips of my long lost youth! Quite fittingly there was a couple of school jaunts in there when I visited. It's a former art school in an attractive gabled Victorian building which hasn't been jazzed up with trendy signage, trigger warnings or exclusive inclusives (think it's just assumed that everyone will enjoy their visit!) (Nice clean, fresh toilets too!)
My main focus was the Louise Rayner exhibition - delightful watercolours of old Chester - excellent! Another gallery had a great collection of Chester-centric paintings of views of the town, picturesque buildings, horses on the Roodee racecourse and famous Chester citizens, a further gallery has Silver 'objets' from when Chester was an assay office, downstairs an amazing collection of Roman altars...
Free and well worth a visit, just a few yards off Bridge Street turning into Grosvenor Street.
So much to see in this shop. I could spend hours here. Would love to have had more time to browse, but I will be back
A little interesting in Chester Market situated in the food hall. Lots of Lego buildings and figures related to the city of Chester. Interesting and it looks good. 
Amazing time for our daughters 8th birthday, James and Claire were so accommodating and made the girls very at ease given their limited riding experience. The girls were thrilled and have not stopped talking about it since. Would highly recommend. 
Attended a family wedding and reception/party at the Zoo's venue The Square.
Really impressed with the location, the setup and how the place the was run from beginning to the end. All the staff we encountered were helpful and knowledgeable.
The food was tasty and well presented, albeit a few more staff on table service would have made it great for all in the room. Bar service and help from all the staff was great.
