Awesome Italian restaurant in Bayview. The atmosphere is wonderful and warm. Charming place and excellent service. The drink offering was fantastic and the food was delicious and very authentic. Everything was very good. I do wish they would offer more pasta dishes and maybe a chicken dish. The menu is smaller with a select offering, all very good and the pizza’s are the star of the show here! 🍕 The pizza’s are pretty terrific! We tried just about everything here and loved it all. We will be back. It’s a hidden gem for sure. Check it out, you won’t be sorry. It’s a cozy atmosphere and feels very Italian inside. Desserts rocked as well - All of them!! Great ending to a fantastic dinner. Great decor. Loved it all ♥️ 🇮🇹 🍽️
The hype is very real with this spot. I have been hearing so many good things about this place and finally got the chance to go on Wednesday night. My fiancée and I took out my parents to celebrate their anniversary and birthday. We made reservations for 6:15 and were seated immediately upon arrival. The hostess was very nice and so was our waiter. We shared everything we ordered: Arancini, the Bocce Ball (10oz meatball), the Mediterranean salad, and 2 pizzas (Canicatti & Margherita). Everything was devoured. It all was amazing, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The manager found out that we were celebrating an anniversary and birthday, so we were treated to 2 pieces of Tiramisu and 1 piece of the Galliano cake. Wow! Again, the desserts were to die for. The space itself gives all of the Italy vibes. They have a bunch of Tvs in all the different seating areas playing old school Italian movies, very cool! The decorations were very thoughtful, as well. I can't say enough good things about this meal and experience. We will most definitely be back!
After reading past reviews we were excited to visit. Ordered calamari for appetizer and a large Deluxe pizza. While the appetizer was very good the pizza was lacking all the toppings or at least not enough of them. Six full size black olives isn’t enough, along with limited sausage and pepperoni. The real problem was all the toppings coming off as we were trying to pick up a slice. None of the toppings stayed on the crust which was very soggy. Waitress never came over to ask how everything was.
Looks can be deceiving. This unassuming building in the middle of a residential neighborhood of Bay View has some of the best Italian food around, we have visited Santinos several times and have never disappointed, and our recent visit was no exception. Everything from the antipasto platter - which came with an abundance of meats, olives, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and bread - to the pizza was amazing. A great attention to only using the best quality ingredients is very evident. Everything is fresh and so very delicious.
