I loved this stadium. We came as the opposing team fans and all the Bronco fans were so nice. It's a great stadium, with lighting effects, fireworks, lots of vendors and food options. The mini doughnuts were amazing! They sell beer too. Bathrooms clean. Easy to get to from downtown hotels. The home side is in the shade for football season.
I visited this stadium to watch my Knights end Boise's 21 game streak of home opener wins. The Boise fans are super friendly and welcoming - probably moreso than any away stadium I've visited. Perhaps the strangest part of the experience was before the game. There's not much tailgating info and, for some reason, the Boise fans just don't tailgate early. Since absolutely no one was tailgating, we asked University staff and they all seemed confused what tailgating was and why someone would want to do it any more than 2 hours before the game started. I eventually found 3 lone canopies on some grass area and setup next to them. You can tailgate anywhere on campus, but the fans just don't have much spirit for it. You can park in the garages for $20 or on the street for free. As for the stadium, it's a unique experience with the field and all. The mountains in the background are a nice plus. No seat has a back however, which is not great. The concessions are reasonably priced but the concourses are absolutely packed during game breaks. All and all a good experience, but the stadium could be better.
This place isn’t the biggest stadiums but it is pretty nice. It holds a little less than 40k and it gets loud. The concourses are tight and they are trying to spread the concession stands out. The field is as blue as it looks on tv
Seeing it on TV can't prepare you for how deeply and intensely blue that turf is. Other than that, its a pretty typical second-tier D1 stadium.
