Stumbled across this bar/restaurant on a whim and decided to come in as the ambience looked nice. I wish that we had just walked away. From the moment we stepped in, it was terrible. Firstly, they were reluctant to provide a sufficient sized space for our party of 11. We ordered drinks, looked and the menu and all seemed OK. My partner then had to chase down a server to take our food order, at which point we were told at multiple points 'oh i dont know if we have this'. Specifically we were told that they may not have fish for the fish and chips, but they would check. Quite a while later the server reappeared and we had to specifically ask if they had fish, to which we were told no. So then this member of our party had to order something else. You may think that's not that bad but it got worse.. The pizzas were the worst microwaved pizzas i've ever tasted, one of our party ordered an alfredo which did not state on the menu that it had meat and it was for a vegetarian. The server argued about it before agreeing to provide another meal. As the rest of the party's meals arrived, it seemed to be consistently poor food which wasn't edible in many cases. To make it worse, the server was seen complaining to another member of staff about our group. In summary, the service was awful and the food even worse. I would recommend anyone stay as far away from this establishment as possible.
We came in as a group of 11, the tables were dirty and the staff didn’t seem to care. We ordered a variety of dishes but we were told fish might not be available instead of confirming this members of our party were just not told and wouldn’t have had a meal unless we reminded them, that would have been a lucky escape! Bland carbonara that was the quality of a supermarket microwave meal. Vegetarian dishes that came with meat having to be spent back. Pizzas with no flavour like someone who hates pizza made it wanting to ruin it for the general population. Bolognese chewy and hard made by someone who you can only assume hasn’t eaten bolognese but has been shown pictures and guessed. What an awful experience I would assume that perusing the local bins would offer up a better meal. We all got served at random points and ate with a 30 minute stagger. This was the worse experience eating I have had in living memory. My dog eats better than this….
