The food here was a delight, especially the duck breast and confit. It’s a scratch kitchen with everything made to order. Pleasant interior and lovely staff (Brenda!). We will be back!
Service was great , my waitress was attentive and knew the menu well and could recommend according to my favorite flavors. Food was prepared well and tasted good.
Honestly best meal I had in 2023. Food was very fresh and all made "homemade" I had the short rib sandwich - it was excellent (on Challah) my partner had tofu scramble. Love that they offer vegan and vegetarian options. Drinks were great (get the Make your own Bloody Mary) I was very impressed.
I really wanted to give this place 5 stars after reading many reviews. Me and my partner arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday. Not busy at all, with a few parties scattered around the restaurant. The first thing we noticed after being seated was how loud the music was. I am one for loud music, but not when I am in a restaurant trying to have conversation. It was also very dark, and then later the lights got dimmed even more. Bring a flash light if you plan on going. We both ordered drinks, which seemed to take extremely long to get. The drinks were great, so they were worth the wait. We asked our server about a particular app and he was very unsure of what it was. Instead of asking someone else for verification, we were left to make a decision to order something else. We opted for the Steak bomb spring rolls. They were delicious, however, they should remove the "bomb" from the title. We got steak and cheese. For the entree, I got the Seared Halibut, which had some different flavor profiles. A good size piece of fish, but I wasn't a fan of so many potatoes underneath. I also would have liked more citrus flavor....perhaps a piece of lemon would have been appropriate? My partner got the pan seared scallops with risotto. I was a little shocked when I only saw 4 scallops on the plate. For $32.00, I would have expected a bit more. Our server was attentive, but not very seasoned. A manager did come by and ask how everything was, but I didn't think I wanted to have a loud conversation within ear shot of other tables.....Remember the loud music? Overall, For the money spent between drinks, apps and the entrees, it wasn't worth it. I can find many other restaurants that have better quality scratch made food and not have to spend a fortune.
