I was a regular for years. These people have had hundreds if not thousands out of us over the years. One time I spent more than my usual 45 mins and was told to leave as they wanted the place for lunch. The place was practically empty. Incredibly rude. Never went back. A much better approach would be to have asked if I wanted to order anything else. Turns out my loyalty accounted for nothing. They just wanted my money.
We found this place by chance and had a lovely breakfast which was piping hot and very well presented. Staff were lovely and food was excellent
Visited on a Sunday for the first time for a breakfast, warm welcome, efficient friendly service, nice relaxed vibe, quick service, good value and excellent food, what else can you ask for! A few seats outside. Offer a range of breakfasts and good value lunches such as lasagne, jacket potatoes, fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches, etc.
We had toasted teacakes and coffee here after visiting the castle,very friendly staff the place itself was decorated lovely.
