We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our schnitzels with mushroom sauce and fried potatoes to arrive. The food was not worth the wait. The schnitzels were mushy and bland, and the potatoes were soggy. We barely ate any of it, leaving most of it on our plates. The waiter did not seem to notice or care about our dissatisfaction. He did not apologize for the delay or offer any compensation. He simply brought us the check and expected us to pay the full price of the meal. After we had paid the bill, we walked out of the restaurant and no one even said goodbye to us. Overall, the service was not very pleasant.
Wir waren zum ersten Mal auf Empfehlung einer Bekannten zu fünft bei Grootens. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente fand ich persönlich ganz nett. Der Gastraum war fast voll belegt, deshalb entsprechender Lautstärkepegel. Die Gerichte sind mega-groß (auch die "Kleinigkeiten"), frisch und lecker. Reste bekam man eingepackt (die Hunde haben sich gefreut). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Über das Personal kann ich nichts negatives sagen und es ging auch alles sehr flott.
Tolles Essen. Sehr gute Portionen. Angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.
Sehr gutes und frisches Essen daher sind die Wartezeiten manchmal etwas länger. Bedienung könnte freundlicher sein.
