We've stayed at these wonderful apartments many times since first going in 2006, so obviously we love the place.
Whilst there are lots of repeat visitors like us, in July, I noticed some first timers both to Elounda and the OG. They were so well looked after by the OG staff, it was lovely to see and reaffirmed my belief that Manos, Hayley, Julia and the team certainly don't rest on their laurels.
Nothing is too much trouble, the BBQ quiz night is still a really fun evening and the whole premises remains spotless.
There's plenty of room around the premises to relax and the food and drink are tasty and good value.
We keep returning to Olive Grove and it never disappoints. Julia, Manos and Hayley are always so welcoming. It’s like coming home.
Apartments are spotless with great new showers. Mano always on hand to advise and book restaurants etc. Jenny, a constant behind the bar for years. The best holiday in the most relaxing place in Crete. Thank you again.
Lovely clean apartments in great Location, views ok but not spectacular
Relaxing to sit round pool and bar. Food we had was delicious, both food and drinks reasonably priced
Staff are lovely, we enjoyed our chats with Jenny, who gave us information about the area .
Only negative is, as with a lot of places people put towels on sunbeds then leave empty for hours, shame as it's a small friendly hotel, sunbeds bring out the worst in people🤣
We did 4 hour little road train trip€24, would highly recommend, Mario the guide was excellent loads of info with humour . Stops off at next resort then a stop in small tavern in a small village. Read negative review about trip as no choice of tavern, however food, drink delicious and cheap, if tavern not supported there would be probably no village to visit.
We spent 10 days here recently and had a really good experience. The apartments are family-run and everyone there is really friendly and helpful. The pool bar was the hub and served good snacks and drinks all day and drinks until late. Everyone there was relaxed and friendly and there were mostly repeat customers. The pool was lovely and clean and our boys really enjoyed going in. The apartment itself was clean annd cleaned often during the stay and had everything we needed with good air con and a bedroom fan plus two balcony areas. Lots of good restaurants to eat at in Elounda by the harbour and square areas. Also we liked nearby Plaka nearby for a slightly different vibe. We visited Spinalonga and the water park and both were enjoyed. The sea is so clear and warm at the beaches nearby too and great for children. We hope to return! Very friendly family run boutique hotel/apartments. Perfectly located, mostly visited by middle-aged English tourists. Nice bar, good breakfast, snacks and affordable drinks including the cocktails. We did not regret booking this place !
Καθαρά δωμάτια, φιλόξενοι άνθρωποι και ήσυχο μέρος! Το δωμάτιο πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Όλα τα δωμάτια με ένα βήμα στη πισίνα! Τα παιδιά πέρασαν υπέροχα!. Χάρηκα πάρα πολύ που δεν είχε τηλεόραση και έτσι χαρήκαμε τη κάθε στιγμή! Τα δωμάτια είναι στο κέντρο της Ελούντα, δίπλα σε όλα τα μαγαζιά. Αν ξαναβρεθώ στην Ελούντα σίγουρα θα το ξαναεπισκεφθώ! Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ.
We have recently returned from the Olive Grove following a 2 year absence caused by my wife unfortunately breaking her leg a few weeks before we were supposed to travel last year.
We normally prefer an apartment further from the pool, but only ground floor unit was available as we had to book quite late. The changed layout of the bar area does mean that it no longer feels as if people are right on top of you when sitting on the ground floor terrace.
The apartment (12) was absolutely fine and had a very powerful overhead shower, which was welcome as it was pretty hot for June.
Manos, Hayley, Julia and the boys, plus Jenny were as welcoming as always. Food portions are large, so be warned :-)
Heading back in September for about our 6th visit.
Great location in a lovely quiet area yet metres from the town and beaches where there is a wealth of good restaurants and bars.
The whole place is immaculately clean, very well maintained and an excellent bar and meals area. The Bacon & egg toasted baguette in the morning is sooooo good!Very very good food and Hayley and Manos who keep on top of everything, are such lovely people. Always polite, friendly and good to chat to. A very personal place.
I was shown to a room which again was immaculately presented throughout.
Our 3rd return visit and already booked for next year.Great family run business.Apartments clean and comfortable. Nice pool and lovely pool bar for evening drinks. Food is good value and recommend the Friday BBQ. Local tavernas also excellent.
