Excellent place to stay for one night in more. Very clean room, with everything complimentary for the shower. Tea and coffee selection, and a free prosecco at the bar. View amazing from our room, with the sea infront. Wonderful evening meal, and breakfast was spot on. Lovely walk down to the beach, and a few gifts shops and food huts as well. Would definately recommend
I came here 20 years ago and had my first ever pint of Tanglefoot. I returned today and enjoyed the same again! A lovely clean fresh beer, in a warm and welcoming environment with lovely friendly staff. My family and I had a meal and were impressed with the quality of the food - the pork special was gorgeous, as was the beef shin on the main menu. Top class establishment and will definitely be returning... hopefully in much less than another 20 years!
Great hotel, spotlessly clean, really go the extra mile , staff can’t do enough for you, to the quality products in bathroom, the selection of tea, coffee, biscuits, complimentary water, super comfortable beds, everything in a room that you could want down to the phone charging sockets and the outstanding location and views, dinner in the restaurant was yummy to, we come for the cove, durdle door and the dark night skies for astronomy, going to be our monthly getaway :)
Don't book after 5pm as they run out of food. I booked a table for 7pm for my husband's 60th birthday. The staff was dressed in shorts and t shirts. As soon as was sat down we was told there was no chicken or pork roast, no cauliflower cheese or pigs in blankets. The selection on the menu was very limited. So we both had the beef roast. The beef was cooked nice but the roast potatoes were rock hard and inedible, tolx the staff member and he brought out some new potatoes out. Was disappointed as saw lots of good reviews on here.
Beautiful place to stay! Staff could not have been more helpful with advice and help with parking ,places to visit etc
We have rather lovely room that had everything you might need for a very comfortable overnight stay.
We had our dog with us as its dog friendly and felt welcome. Some places make you feel awkward but not here.
We decided to eat in the restaurant and the food was good value and delicious. . Service was good, we were slightly wary after reading a couple of reviews but can assure you that the whole experience of the Lulworth cove inn was one that has made us want to come back😊 and we have recommended it to friends for their next visit.
Great pub with very helpful staff and excellent food. Made alot of effort and I even got a candle and happy birthday with my dessert. Only thing that let our visit down was Ladies toilets were very grim with at least 2 very badly blocked toilets and visited Saturday and Sunday so both visits same!
Nice Inn, Lovely location. Staff friendly enough, nice drinks, but food very disappointing. One item appalling to be honest - amazed anyone would send that from the kitchen, and then deliver it to a table without noticing how bad it was. Lodged a polite complaint and was offered it to be remade, but was so put off I said no thanks. Apology made by staff member, but surprised not to be offered a refund. Hope the complaint got back to kitchen because they need to up their game. Would not go back for food, but really enjoyed the Lulworth Lager.
We stayed at the Lulworth Cove Inn to celebrate my Wife's 60th and our 26th Wedding Anniversary.
Our choice could not have been better, from the excellent communication pre visit to the very warm welcome, the beautiful room, very attentive staff and excellent food we had an amazing time and just sorry over so quickly.
The team have got it spot on with good old fashioned service, great quality of food and accommodation and an amazing location.
Well done and Thank you
Superb food, welcoming staff and we could take the dogs. Congratulations to the Chef - the food was amazing across every person and every dish.
The staff were very welcoming.
Family of four - 2 adults and 2 teenagers (late teens) and 2 dogs.
I would highly recommend and look forward to going again.
Fantastic little place. We stayed at the beginning of August for a couple of nights. Rooms were clean and tidy, we all had a good nights sleep….so quiet and peaceful at night.
All of the staff were fantastic, polite, helpful and courteous at all times.
Food was good, lots of seafood options obviously, I love seafood but a member of a party doesn’t, so you might want to bear that in mind….you are visiting the coast and should expect it.
Another note, Dorset is by far the friendliest place I have ever visited, everyone and I mean everyone smiled at us, wished good evening and good morning. Stunning place and I would love to go back one day.
