...we simply love this restaurant 😍!!! ...we travel all the way from Hudson a few times a month to enjoy the dining experience! ...food is fresh and tasty ...all from local producer's ... environment is friendly and inviting ...we just wish we had a restaurant like this in Hudson!!! ...we sample food from here to Sarasota a couple times a year ...and NOTHING can compare to the dining experience we have here at Warren's! First time there and had a great dinner with my wife and daughter. We were greeted by our warm and spirited server, Felicia. All three of us were impressed and surprised by the unique flavor of our entrees. Started off with an appetizer of strawberry fig cauliflower flatbread with goat cheese and arugula topped with a balsamic glaze -- nice balance between sweet and savory. The stand-out dish was the elk chops that I ordered covered in a amarena cherry port wine demi glace. Accompanied by asparagus and a butternut squash with maple brown butter with candied pecans. My daughter had the Nashville chicken sandwich-- entire thigh breaded in a special flour tossed in Nashville hot sauce with sweet fried kale on the sandwich. It came with garlic rosemary fries--excellent! My wife had the Burton marinated flank steak sandwich (locally sourced from nearby Bonner Farms) topped with sautéed onions and peppers with gouda and gruyere sauce. Also topped with a house white barbeque sauce--one of a kind. Can't wait to go back and trying the rest of the menu -- was actually difficult to decide what to order. A nice cozy rustic atmosphere with a rural carriage house quality to the place.
This was our first time here and it was good overall 8/10. However, the bread should be free, the apple salad should be much smaller and only $10. It is currently $13 and HUGE. The prices at this restaurant are more on par with a downtown Cleveland restaurant. We also had the twin filet medallions (ok - overpriced), and the elk chops (great). The food was good and we will be back to try it again thought.
This was our 3rd visit and like always, the food was wonderful. I strongly recommend the beef stroganoff, the wings, and the duck confit. What made this visit extra special is the phenomenal service we got from David, who is from Fort Myers Florida and like so many, lost everything. He was super attentive without being annoying, not only with us but with all the other tables around us. He made wonderful suggestions, was extremely pleasant and represented the restaurant in 5 star fashion. I know all restaurants are struggling with getting good help, but Warren's Spirited Kitchen hit the jackpot with David!
